@brainiac Yes, there is, use the inventory items to "repair" or "refuel" this consumes the item you clicked reguardless of your status of fuel or hull, so you can "discard" this way.

The hard achievement definitely needs an *ENDURANCE BADGE* label. It took me half a day to get, and I honestly can't imagine it taking any less time.

Is there a way to discard things from your inventory? I don't want to have to go all the way to the surface to dump some lava and obsidian that I had to drill through to get to the silver and gold I need...

@maxcat: PROTIP: Not being able to refuel under ground, and hence always risking death from greed, was *the whole point* of Motherload.
How did you not get that? Refueling underground destroys the whole game dynamic!

One game I got only purple gas wherever I go, and this game I get only the green one. Silver and Gold also seem to be mutualy exclusive, what gives? (Mutualy exclusive in game, not just on one planet)

The drilling controls are so incredibly tedious and bad… Drilling upwards only works a quarter of the time, And it randomly stops drilling between blocks.

@lulu72188 go to the galaxy map and if there is a red planet go to that planet and you should complete the game by doing that

love the game style and for me to be addicted to this game makes it a good game cause i dont get addicted to games often :)

Make sure you got the requerments for loading game like all the plug-ins or it wont load so dont blame it on the developers

Could you add a "back" button to the crafting page? So when you click Item A on the research page, then item B because it's a component, it would be nice to be able to go back to item A with the press of a single button instead of having to look it up through other means.

If you go to the very bottom of the map, you will not die, but rather stop all downwards motion. It's the same with the sides, the "invisible wall" is in effect. It is rather rare to see games that motivate the player to keep on digging. Also, the usage of resources for upgrades rather that exchanging them for money is pure genius cough*motherload*cough.

nice game but PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF [oh my, fill in your favorite word here], DON'T MAKE ME SPOIL MY LOST ITEMS JUST BECAUSE I DIDN'T REALISE MY INVENTORY WAS FULL. just make me unable to drill through valuable or something, please!

For those who are wondering why they haven't gotten the hard badge after upgrading everything to level 5, you need to go to the galaxy map and go to the red planet.

Nice idea, but not so nice implementation.
1. One click crafting would be nice, there are too much middleware components.
2. Some upgrades seems useless, I don't know why should I upgrade plating when there are no enemies and what is drill vibration upgrade for.
3. Fuel seems to be bugged, with capacity lvl 3 and consumption lvl2 it isn't spending at all

This is the game play when nobody's on L4D2. Best web browser game I've played in a long long time. Kinda reminds my of that old game Motherload.

After being away for awhile, I decided I wanted to play Motherload again, and I come back to this. Goodness is this game exactly what I wanted.

That button for automatically crafting the second tier of parts (if you have the resources) would be great. But the game is totally amazing, its been really fun
*Also heads up to newbies: when you get the recipes for "bunch of screws", "series of pipes", and "wireless wires" -make a crap-ton, like at least 50 when you can. you get to make fancy stuff but if you don't there'll be alot of backtracking and object splitting

I noticed how this was like this game called Motherload. Even though I enjoyed this, as it was much more different. I dunno if you spun it off, but it's a good game. 4/5

This might have already been said, but a small reward for completing objectives other than finishing the game would be nice.
