@jambola some other guy wrote that thing i wrote. i just wanted to quote him and say the same thing you did but well.. it cut off the other half of my description... the game's really good!

@JimRaynor89 It's not like MotherLoad, you don't sell basic stuff for money then buy the uprades, I like this system more because you need to make different stuff for each upgrade unlike buying stuff for eg 1000$...

I can't seem to get any further since i need some small lava globules but instead I keep gettin medium lava globules (21 already) at a depth of 25-30

Good game, breaking larger items into smaller ones would help making collecting tiny units less tedious later in the game. Also when crafting some of the more complex items it takes way to many clicks. If you could return back up level after you drill down in the components it would save a lot time as well. 4 stars for me, good job.

...why the hell alcohol and rifle is classified as an alien object?
Okey, this robot is confirmed to be of extraterrestrial origin.

I don't know if that's a bug... but after creating engineering bay, crafting some stuff and upgrading my cooling... my radar readings were gone. I mean i used radar pulse earlier and when i got out of my ship readings were cleared.

You get small lava globes just by standing under a non-depleted lava tile; once you are hit by one of the tiny lava drops you will get a small lava globe.

Love this game so far! Kinda reminds me a little bit of Dig Dug on steroids. Noticed a typo. When you highlight "Fine Silver Bar" the description says "Refined 'Iron' makes for a quality bar..." 5 stars regardless from me!

will, ya actually have to let lava drip on you to get smalls as far as I know. As to the game, thank you for lowering the engineering cost. It makes much more sense now.

Upgrades require the Engineering Bay module, while combining raw materials to craft better ones requires a Research Nexus.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i've extremly confused, does this game just require a ton of planet hopping before you start to get upgrades or is there some combining menu i'm not seeing.

Read the description of the item you are trying to obtain, all relevant information is there. Small lava can very easily be obtained by letting the drops fall you to collect them.

for everyone who wants to know how to use the capsule elevators (or at least how i used them). you go on it to go up and press down while on it to deactivate the elevator. now to turn it back on again just bring up your inventory and it should reactivate.

It took me a while to figure out that you can craft an item from the cargo bay once you've made it through research. Perhaps this should be made more obvious. I noticed a few people seem to have missed this entirely.

Capsules always activate their "elevator beam" once they are opened (drilled into). OFC, if there is rock right above them you won't be able to ride it up, but the beam itself passes though all terrain, so you can take detours or use dynamite when that happens.

If you select Obsidian, or any other raw resource in the Inventory it will show you all relevant data; including how it can be obtained.

3 fixes/modifications within 24 hours of releasing the game? now that's impressive. Not only that, but after so long there's finally a game satisfies my need to dig and gather resources. i never felt Motherload did enough. for me its the best game so far this year and definitely in my top 5.

Completing an objective rewards you with bonus time (tracked at the top right of the screen). During this time you receive 2x the resources from any nodes mined. This helps you maintain momentum.

This game is awesome, such great attention to detail. Amazing animations, loads of fun. Love the YouTube videos. Underrated and underscored 5/5

Fantastic progression to the Motherlode style games. One thing that I would love, is being able to split ores into smaller versions. Toward the middle of the game, I have a lot of sizable iron, but I need a lot of tiny or ordinary ores. Great game!

Items/Artifacts are obtained from the capsules that are present in every map. There is no such thing as a 'Missing Item', only Buried, Lost and Hidden. You can see the details of artifacts in the bottom half of the Research Tab.

Okay 5/5 But I'm so confused about how you are to find a missing item... I've explored ALL over... but not found one,

@Rhino:
This genre is naturally aimed towards a specific mindset to begin with, but within that genre this game is relatively quick-paced and rewarding. The trick is to set goals for yourself. Pick something on the upgrade screen that looks nice, and seek what you need to make it. Or drop a teleport pad near a particularly rich concentration of gas, lava or minerals and get mining away. If you find yourself encountering the same types of minerals repeatedly, that is because even the cheapest kinds keep value later on. I find myself in need of iron much more often than gold. If you're having trouble finding the rarer minerals, then dig deeper (and/or make your goal to upgrade cooling), carefully choose your planets and use radar pulses to home in on stray clusters.
