3 fixes/modifications within 24 hours of releasing the game? now that's impressive. Not only that, but after so long there's finally a game satisfies my need to dig and gather resources. i never felt Motherload did enough. for me its the best game so far this year and definitely in my top 5.

Completing an objective rewards you with bonus time (tracked at the top right of the screen). During this time you receive 2x the resources from any nodes mined. This helps you maintain momentum.

Fantastic progression to the Motherlode style games. One thing that I would love, is being able to split ores into smaller versions. Toward the middle of the game, I have a lot of sizable iron, but I need a lot of tiny or ordinary ores. Great game!

Items/Artifacts are obtained from the capsules that are present in every map. There is no such thing as a 'Missing Item', only Buried, Lost and Hidden. You can see the details of artifacts in the bottom half of the Research Tab.

This genre is naturally aimed towards a specific mindset to begin with, but within that genre this game is relatively quick-paced and rewarding. The trick is to set goals for yourself. Pick something on the upgrade screen that looks nice, and seek what you need to make it. Or drop a teleport pad near a particularly rich concentration of gas, lava or minerals and get mining away. If you find yourself encountering the same types of minerals repeatedly, that is because even the cheapest kinds keep value later on. I find myself in need of iron much more often than gold. If you're having trouble finding the rarer minerals, then dig deeper (and/or make your goal to upgrade cooling), carefully choose your planets and use radar pulses to home in on stray clusters.

4/5 for SURE... Just a few SMALL things that are slightly annoying about the game but 80% perfect fore SURE.. One of the best flash games ever made, make no mistake about this fact.

Thankfully the "small lava glob problem" can be solved by simply putting a teleport pad near a lava pocket or three and repeated 'milking' of the pockets, coming back to the ship to repair/unload as needed.

I'm trying to understand the issues you are having with lava. The description clearly states: "Dripping from lava pockets." The lava you get from drilling a pocket is always one grade higher than whatever is dripping from that pocket.

okay so lava goblets can not be mined, only gotten from letting lava drip on you. does not say anything about that in the description in your cargo hold.

small lava goblets 25-100 , medium lava blobs 50-150. Are you sure about that at 25-30 i find nothing but medium blobs and have yet to get a small goblet.

Might I say that this game is EXTREMEY addicting, and that you are evil for having made it so? XD I've already spent a few hours playing it without realizing the time.
No, we're not evil :D If you wish, we can make it stop working after 2 hours of playing, and then you can come back the next day :) The games auto-saves when you go to the ship, so you can stop anytime. Don't try to finish it in one day if you have any other tasks!

We have updated the game to lower the requirements for building an Engineering Bay. If you haven't built it yet, unload your inventory at the ship, and the refresh the page to take advantage of the new recipe.

yeah i have many problems trying to craft the engineering bay, make it so that the bay doesnt cost sizeable iron OR make it so you can craft sizeable iron from medium iron instantly OR make it appear higher OR make your starting heating higher... the start is very boring and slow and i still cant get sizeable iron lumps even on glacial planets
Ok, thanks for your feedback. We have lowered the Engineering Module price (you no longer need Silver or Sizeable Iron). You need to go to the ship (to save your game), then refresh your browser. If the version is 1.34K (below the title there's a small text with the version number), then it should be cheaper now

i need to get sizable iron and tiny silver but they are at depth 100 and i overheat at glacial planets at 32, so i have no chance of getting to 100, i dont know how to craft them either, cuz i havent unlocked it, please help.
Once you build a Research Nexus, and have enough raw materials, you can turn 3x Tiny Iron nuggets into an ordinary Iron Lump. Similarly, once you get enough Ordinary Iron, you unlock the recipe to turn it into Sizable Iron. Same goes for silver, gems and all base resources.

I'm clearly not getting something here, because I've basically been doing the exact same things (Going down, getting minerals, returning to the surface, repeating) for about half an hour now and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. I'm supposed to do things like make an engineering bay, except that requires tiny silver nuggets that appear at depths 25-100. The problem would be that I'm overheating, or close enough that I can't even really use my drill, but the time I get to even 26 depth. I see no way to increase my ability to drill down deeper (which I'm guessing from the description would be one of the things that the engineering bay would help with), so I'm not 100% sure what I'm supposed to be doing here. I don't feel like I'm making any progress of any sort.

getting your first lava globes is rather hard, and the gasses are too easy to get. It would also be nice if you could transfer the ships cargo to you, but I guess that could be a little overpowered. for now its a 4/5, haven't really gone that far into the game to give more (or less), but I find it somewhat relaxing so I guess I will play this between a badge hunt and the other.

Interesting take on your mining/collecting game, I love it! But it needs a way to craft the larger elements into the smaller ones.
Thanks for your feedback. Since many of you have asked us to add an option to split the items into smaller ones, we have added this feature. It's a new button in the ship inventory window (next to Craft Object). Don't forget to go to the ship first to auto-save the game, then refresh your browser. Check if the version is 1.39 K (near the title in the main menu), and then the new feature should be there :D

Nice game, it's quite athmospheric and I like the diversisty of planets and how it affests on the goods you can find inside.

Right of the bat I'd say that in addition to the sound I would like to see an animation when you have the drills on even if you're not actually drilling.
