Awesome game, good story and fun factor in there. The only thing is that crafting high level items needs loads of time, when you unearth an artifact or two in the end you will need tens of minutes crafting the items needed for the research. If this could be improved the game would be perfect. Had been playing this for weeks as I lost my first save, but I would really like to find out the ending so I kept playing. Good work there, solid 5/5.

Really enjoyed the game! Looking forward to a sequel in which you can drop stuff in the mineshafts after making all your upgrades. (Auto-borer, stuff like that.)

There's a bug with the radar pulse. When entering the ship to drop off inventory, the map resets to its original, non-colour-coded state.

Was definitely an enjoyable game. After finding all the artifacts I just strip-mined planets (Not even leaving rocks, or dirt) to get all it's materials until my drone was fully upgraded. I cannot wait until the sequel though I know it may be some time off. Also a suggestion for the future at some point is maybe make upgrades so that you can hold more than 10 of each tool.

Nice game with a lot of mining fun.
Great for the younger ones to learn about elements and such.
A bit to slow for me but recommendable to most players.

apparently when you blow up a gas geyser ith dynamite, you dont die. so you stand in a bit of dynamite and let it blow up a gas geyser and you dont die! this is a real glitch!

one thing i noticed, you have to go down to at least 100 hundred meters to get titanium, which is needed to build the level of cooling tech needed to go that deep. so you have to spend a ton of time in the danger zone while looking for just 1 tiny piece of titanium, using teleporters at the last second so that you don't die from the heat. maybe if the tiny pieces were a little higher up in the ground, even if just by 10 or 15 feet, it would be a little liss troublesome.

Been playing on and off for a few days now, and I really do like the game. Problem is, I'm getting discouraged trying to find the last few artifact items. Is each only found on a specific class or type of planet, or am I just unlucky?

I have every upgrade, I have watched every video. Now what? I'm just twiddling my thumbs trying to beat this game I've spent forever playing.

Aaaaaaannnnnddddd . . . . . my saved file got deleted . . . :(
Which means I'm going to have to play through it all over again to get to the point I was at . . . dammit . . .

For those who don't know hoe to finish the game:
Get all the artifacts (18 of them), then go to galaxy map. There will be a red planet with no info given. Go to it and watch the ending video.

The only way to make this game better would have been to add more planets... and perhaps combat? I keep looking for games that combine resource managment with combat, but ones that do both well are hard to find. This was an excellenct game though, loved the story content and exploration. 9/10!

this game has three things most games dont: 1.Its a game what dosnt take 15 mins to complete 2.its a slightly more advanced game than others and 3. it has the best graphics ive seen in a long time. Rating 10/10

Fun game. I'd like to make one request - how about not ever having the updraft in the same column as the fuel refill. Makes it quite a pain to refill. Or at least be able to move the refill or something.

I really enjoy the stability(especially the codebase)of the game, but I'd like to see an option to autoconsumre resources for fuel and repairs, which may be useful for deep, damaging ventures.

I loved Mother Load, and I really LOVED this game! The combination of a complex crafting with recipes to find and cool alien videos made this so entertaining. I'm on holidays and just sat down and played this every minute until I completed all of the objectives. I liked how in the end I was going back out to mine for the basics like iron - because everything needs those nuts and bolts! So entertaining, thank you heaps to the development team.

@Grizix if that happens you can just hold down down and you'll fall through the updraft, letting you reach the refueling bit

This game is highly addictive. The graphics, the crafting, it's all done very well. The only thing that I can think of that I didn't like was the consumables max out at 10, and if you continue to craft more beyond that, it will still take your resources. It sure would be nice if if wouldn't give you the option to craft more consumables if you were at the max amount. Other than that though, fantastic!

How about another module like a thumper that you can lay down that causes constant vibrations. For those spots where there's nowhere to dig around lava and you don't want to just catch boiling pellets?

The menu navigation when you want to craft something is a huge pain in the butt. Got to Engineering menu - Find upgrade you want - look at items you need - look at item you need to craft item - craft one of them - repeat for EVERY SINGLE ITEM YOU NEED FOR THE MAIN ITEM - repeat for EVERY SINGLE MAIN ITEM. It even took long to type that. Now imagine the player doing it.

Very good game. Though it's a bit too long and repetitive... Farming for ressources was ok but then farming for the items that enables new parts (ipod, etc.) was too much (and it took me a while to understand it). 5 hours would be more than enough.

@BigEpi you do realize that everytime you visit another planet they are randomly generated and so each time you get different types and stuff ...

This may be a stupid question, but it's not obvious to me. How do you beat the game? I have all artifacts, and upgraded all subsystems. I thought getting everything would be how it counts as a win, but sadly it has not. I read all the videos now, and it says I'm trying to find the planet all these things are from, and that I can now triangulate the location. However I see no indicator on my map that points the way to this planet.

I also thought of dig dug =)
I might suggest setting a blank cookie to start the game the FIRST time with "continue" rather than having to do the tutorial again? no big. ;)

Good GOD almighty allow us PLEASE to build the big things when we have all the pieces to build the little things without having to go down FOUR F-ing tiers to build each thing upwards. This game is awesome but just not worth it once building the larger items.. Go outside and build a car starting with the minerals. Have fun!!
