Under rating threshold (show) Needs a save point. I don't like restarting a mission after I'm 30 minutes into the game.

Under rating threshold (show) I love this game but it is quite difficult to play. The selection process of troops is really difficult. Another thing is that it gets quite annoying because you can't zoom out, even a little, to see the battlefield and then select your troops to fight from a zoomed out position. I beg of you to fixed the problems that have been brought to you by the people who play the game, because it is one hell of a game.

Under rating threshold (show) The ui of the game is pretty crappy, The selection process is quite annoying, and so is the path-finding, which causes the your units to often flat out ignore the enemy. Fix this, and you have one hell of a game on your hands.

Under rating threshold (show) mission 5: annoying as hell. 1. your not allowed to re-take planets at all so you MUST defend them all. 2. enemy troops go directly after transports so you need a massive perimeiter to stop them. 3. your home planet get attack by huge forces VERY OFTEN and so you need half your forces there. 4. you can't use your corvette for any real fights because if you lose it game over. 5. great game bro and i needed a challenge :P

Under rating threshold (show) you need to be able to place in order what you build to be able to be built better, and you also need to be able to stop constructing something buildings on your planet. otherwise this game is pretty darn good. a good expansion to this would be to have ground battles seen and be able to set up defences on the ground for better protection against transports

Under rating threshold (show) -_- this is kinda sad. in mission 4 ross was getting clobbered by the imperial forces so he sends about 5 dropships towards the fortress, and despite the 10 dropships (enemy) at the fort and the hundred undamaged guns the game is still won because we captured the fortress for half a second.... perhaps it should be capture and hold?

Under rating threshold (show) tip for dropship charges: don't sit and leave troops at bas (except howitzers) charge enemy forces if you want to disable their dropships (and escorts) before they arrive, a fleet hovering over a planet usually only get 1-2 dropships before they start landing, but a fleet that attacks the squad directly usuaslly gets them all

Under rating threshold (show) Solved level 5. The key is to strip your troops out of the two asteroids near your planet and place them in front of your fleet in massed formation, then build a few repair ships to help heal them. The rest of it you can figure out as you go. If people want more details, I can provide them via PM or on here...

Under rating threshold (show) To defend planets. Fan (135 degrees or so) your ships 2-3 planet diameters in front of the planet your protecting towards the enemy. This allows the first section to agro the enemy fighters. The second section to hit the freighters a bit before ignoring them and going into the fight, and the last section to destroy the freighters and almost focus solely on them. I like to keep heavy fighters in the back and weak fighters in the front to make sure freighters are always destroyed. It is better to attack in groups then in small (5 or so) squads (Think shock and awe). Remember that the weak fighters may be weak... but they are quickly built and do some damage in numbers. When I see a group coming to a planet of mine I like to go ahead and send them out to them. If they die... so what... the heavy fighters are what are going to win you the battles. Don't let them die needlessly. If you are having issues with a aspect/level of the game please post :)

Under rating threshold (show) To beat level 6: Step 1: Build 3 troop carriers and send them to the 3 planets with a 1/3 of your original attack force. While they are sending, build a power plant and then a lab. Research Geology and Energy upgrades. Build intercepters/heavy fighters and fighters. Don't bother with defensive ones as they are too slow. Now when your transports take the 3 planets build a power station on them and then build a plant. Build a few fighters while upgrading power station again. By the time you build one mine or so you should be able to get purifying facilities. Switch to that and fusion centers as they get upgraded. Now keep sending the ships your original planet built out to defend the planets in 1/3's. When your resources start getting low on that planet start making fusions and purifying facilities. Be sure to upgrade society too to build towers for population for when transports get by and in mean time build a few bio domes.

Under rating threshold (show) To those having trouble... remember these things.... 1) Scout, the better your visibility the more reaction time you have, thus you have more efficient allocation of your limited resources. 2) Weigh the marginal benefit of taking planets vs the risk of losing a planet that is now has good income/ship building capability to the enemy. 3) Weigh you options when you are building you planet vs making ships. Having lots of ships around is nice. Keep a good balance and don't just not build unless you have a super planet that can produce every unit 24/7 and tech every research ability all at once... lol 4) Patience... be thankful you have a game that doesn't get boring in one hour... Approach this game with tactics and adapt them when you loose. Learn your enemy, if you keep losing a map then just spend your next game scouting around and looking at the enemy. Look at the timer... and prepare for his attacks next time.

Under rating threshold (show) Nice thing about this game is it is very hard. I love it... it forces you to think strategically. It took me 2 days to get to level 6 and I accidentally deleted my cookies. It took me 1 hour to get back to level 6. Lol... It helps when you understand the concepts of this game. It is very well balanced. Only issues I found was the occasional glitch that freezes up game and causes restart. There is not a better space game on here. Please keep making great games like this :). The only thing I would like added perhaps is the ability to select priority on my defenses into only attacking transports. It is quite difficult to understand for me how my 80 ships positioned on a planet can be overwhelmed by 20 ships while I'm building stuff. A pause feature would be nice for those who do not want to develop carpel tunnel when trying to build/move armys/look over map/scout in those few minutes when the game starts.

Under rating threshold (show) Level 3: Part 1, use mini map to avoid detection. Get repair ship and get transport back. Part 2, Get your group in formation and proceed to top right of map transport. Get your group in a tight formation again and proceed down to extraction. Go through mini clip... Then proceed down with extreme caution. As soon as you see the massive wave approaching from east (a trigger when you get to certain area) reverse direction immediately. Wait for the corvettes to pass and proceed down right side of map taking a few stragglers out. Use your allied forces as cannon fodder and slip behind them. Go to bottom of map, and avoiding the corvette again... send all your ships to the extraction with one click. Now deselect troops so you are only controlling attackers and keep clicking around the transport to keep them protecting the transport/cannon fodder until extraction. Works every time.
