can i just say it's not realistic to have a huge pathway for your enemy straight to enemy transports. it's tactically stupid. why, then, does the opponent leave such a path?

and for lvl 2 get the middle planet, spam stuff there and swarm dropships with interceptors. You want nothing but repair ships, dropships, howitzers, and interceptors.

tip for lvl 4: lure the Kronos and one of the asteroid into a swarm of ships, then regroup and ruch the command center with all heavies

i'm also forget, capture until you have 3 planets under your control and develop it with Power Plant and Mines first, so if your planet ever get captured, it will be easier to take back.

You know? The reason you cannot win the game is that you rather play safe than take a risk of losing more troops. This game is actually quite challenging though, but if you get your strategy right, it will be easier to defeat all campaign and skirmish. I recommend build 20 Fighter on early battle and always build Power Plant and Mines first before anything, until it enough to actually build anything.

Don't attack ,just develop your planet until the time has come.BTW,there is a button on the planet screen which can help you switch the planet quicker

A easier way to win stage 2.Build a power station and plant first, then build a dropship and capture the netrual planet on the right above. Then develop the mine mainly and dome higher rank plant, fighter(at least 60),repair ship(three is enough)and dropship(ten is enough),interceptor(as many as you can, usually 20).Around 10 mins you can have a great armada with around 100 ships. Then crush enemy's force and the convoy to get the achievement

more on mission 2: place 15ish howitzers half or up to a planet width toward the enemy in a stack. put a stack of 5ish repair behind them. and a stack of 8ish interceptors behind those and you. build population on your planets as a buffer. now ur defended.
make 3 stacks like this to attack as well. howitzers, repair, interceptors. approach the enemy stepping slow as you get near so that you draw and zap most of its fighters and interceptors before its howitzers get yours. unfog the attack lanes and you won't get surprised. ai is persistent, not creative when targeting, eg you can move up troops. learn when the 1 time convoy comes and restart if you loose the 2nd planet. this got me m2 in just under an hr.

I like this game( the ships are cool, mechanics are good, control of planets too), but
the selection of units are bad.

for dealing with dropship rushes. there are 2 main counters. 1: keep a couple dropships in reserve behind a planet, then when 50 dropships take it, wait for them all to be destroyed then re-take it easily. or 2: scout as much fog as possible away, and when you see an attack coming intercept it before it gets close. this should give you several times time you have when you simply sit on your planet

1 should be able to speed up 2 should see only what your unit (or your allid unit ) is currently near that point in this game which is already seen can be seen forever except a new mission or you restart a mission

when i see this game i think starcraft two. thats nothing BUT good news for a reveiw score. 4/5 for no fullscreen. 5/5 if my incompetence subsides and i find that option

I love this game but it is quite difficult to play. The selection process of troops is really difficult. Another thing is that it gets quite annoying because you can't zoom out, even a little, to see the battlefield and then select your troops to fight from a zoomed out position. I beg of you to fixed the problems that have been brought to you by the people who play the game, because it is one hell of a game.

The ui of the game is pretty crappy, The selection process is quite annoying, and so is the path-finding, which causes the your units to often flat out ignore the enemy. Fix this, and you have one hell of a game on your hands.

mission 5: annoying as hell. 1. your not allowed to re-take planets at all so you MUST defend them all. 2. enemy troops go directly after transports so you need a massive perimeiter to stop them. 3. your home planet get attack by huge forces VERY OFTEN and so you need half your forces there. 4. you can't use your corvette for any real fights because if you lose it game over. 5. great game bro and i needed a challenge :P

you need to be able to place in order what you build to be able to be built better, and you also need to be able to stop constructing something buildings on your planet. otherwise this game is pretty darn good. a good expansion to this would be to have ground battles seen and be able to set up defences on the ground for better protection against transports

-_- this is kinda sad. in mission 4 ross was getting clobbered by the imperial forces so he sends about 5 dropships towards the fortress, and despite the 10 dropships (enemy) at the fort and the hundred undamaged guns the game is still won because we captured the fortress for half a second.... perhaps it should be capture and hold?

tip for dropship charges: don't sit and leave troops at bas (except howitzers) charge enemy forces if you want to disable their dropships (and escorts) before they arrive, a fleet hovering over a planet usually only get 1-2 dropships before they start landing, but a fleet that attacks the squad directly usuaslly gets them all

No ability to save kills the game. If i log off I have to start at mission 1 all over again. Worse: frequent shockwave crashes.
