Here's the deal: if I am playing a flash game, I want a simple game that doesn't hog my processors. If I wanted to play a game like that, I'd go on Steam. 1/5.

@JKuang: I think the point of the game was to feel epic and unstoppable as one of the tripods from War of the Worlds. If you've read the books and seen any of the movies (the newest one at least) the tripod here looks almost exactly like the ones in the movies and pictures/descriptions in the books. The only big difference is that in the latest film the tripods are able to pick up humans, suck the blood out of 'em, and spray it everywhere for some reason. The Cool Menu should have an option which lets you use that ability, even if it'd be pointless.

Man you guys need to get hold of Walker for the Amiga. It'd give you some great ideas!
It starts off in the past which would be great for a book based level or two, Horse drawn artillery charging at you stuff like that

1.AMAZING GAME 2. This really reminds me of both the movie and the book "The War of the Worlds and 3.Wish it had badges. and 4.This game erns a 5/5 AMAZING GAME!!!!! :)

Haha, Finally got the 'Cool Menu', i just he love the ability to mow down everything in your way, especially on the levels i struggled with. I love it!

too much harder for the first levels:trucks and soldiers for the first level ,HELLicopters ,TANKS,rocket lauchers,soldiers,trucks,wich have 900000000 life for the second level

It seems there is a problem with saving the game. I finished all levels and obtained all achievements today, but they are gone the next day...

very fun the first time but lacks much replayability. i really liked the cool menu stuff and the effects like your ray leaving burn marks on the ground and the static from the EMP tanks. 5/5

Decent game, I enjoy it, but I don't really see why you don't keep credits you earn before you lose a stage. All it really does is force you to go back a level to grind, as opposed to playing and enjoying the new level.

Tried 3 times to load this game. All tried failed, and only 1 got to the main menu. Takes forever to load, must restart my computer to get out of here.

I love it, but I do wish after something just spent all that time recharging from 0 to 100, that it started with SOMETHING. I assumed after my laser said "Recharging, 100%" that it would be full, not empty.

BWAAAAAAAPPPPPPP Good game, but I don't quite feel as if I'm controlling an unstoppable death machine as is portrayed in war of the worlds. Perhaps making units MUCH weaker but more of them would lend such a feeling without robbing difficulty. It would also make bosses feel more like bosses and not a re-skinned standard unit with more health. besides that, 5/5
