(Part 2 of 2) This game, overall, is an absolute masterpiece and should be used along with games such as Bioshock to defend the Video Game industry as art, just as it should be. Fantastic job, fellows. I applaud you.
P.S., I think that the fact that the scary gorilla being shot only in the shoulder is a direct implication of the inevitable sequel, "The Island 2: We Have to Go Back"

This game. Ahhh, where to start with this game. It was a fantastical journey full of glorious adventures and quizzical puzzles of great difficulty and filled with an emotionally gripping storyline. I was in awe of the beautiful graphics. The implementation DirectX11 tesalation here was absolutely gorgeous. The musical score here is just immeasurably better than any other DOS point-and-click adventure game on the market today. If I didn't know better, I'd assume Hans Zimmer was the composer.
All in all, the game's story was greater than most in it's emotional immersion. The story arch was gripping; from the time Dr. Krumble was kidnapped, to the rescuing of him, i was taken on an emotional roller coaster full of fear, doubt, and finally the satisfaction of the rescue. Dr. Krumble has possibly the best character development I've seen in anything thus far. He's got a deep and introspective personality that brings out the philosopher in all of us. (Part 1 of 2)
