Cool little defense type game, not the most entertaining lost my interest pretty fast however I am also not a futuristic guy I prefer past or present. A good game however once you find out how overpowered cruisers are everything is a joke beating the last mission in under 50 seconds. 3/5

Please i a begging you, give the units a attack structure, cause im tired of having all of my people attacking the mothership and allowing a suicider to just splode on my fleet, completely screwing me, and wasting 5 minutes of my time

I'm about 2/3 through the human campaign and I like it. I wish there was even more customization, more specials, more research etc. but I guess not everybody goes for extensive skill trees. One thing that I've found tiresome is when I want to "farm" cash by replaying levels I get very little. Though again I suppose this is not unreasonable as I assume the money we get from missions is quite enough to win all the maps if using the proper strategy. Other than that I like the overall feel of having a huge mothership under my control and the production values are quite good. Strangely the game seems to be "loosing" the cursor on a regular basis forcing me to click somewhere within the game window in order to regain control (launching a ship in the process) this could be a player specific thing. So far it's a decent 4, I don't see it dropping to 3 unless I encounter something gamebreaking but I'll only consider moving it to 5 if I really like the story after playing all three campaigns.

awlon's mission is by far the easiest.
a group of awlon's ion almost almost guarantees a win against ion of human and xeyed with the range difference. bring in a few scout with shield upgrade and you have a good tank.
and awlon's warp is overkill just make 2 cruiser and shield and warp them wins in 1-2mins.
xeyed is next. with devour to counter close range ship including cruiser. and mind controlling the far range like missile, laser and ion. you can play the entire game in 1 lane without summoning ship in other lanes.
which will make human the hardest to play in my conclusion. have nuke wipe both armies can only be use tactically and cloaking requires timing. ion's knock back is a nice to have so you wont need to work about buying to many scouts. assault is the crappiest special since the AI doesn't summon much in 1 single lane. and at best end the round in of 3-5 mins.

Needs badges first of all. Second, fix the memory leak. Beautiful game, hint: ion cannons + scouts = devastation. Love kongregate. Love the game 5 stars.

please disable the warp special for enemy in darwing mode because i get wave 13 where battle cruisers (4) he warp it its quite impossible to pass it and its realy annoyng

Dear game developers, stop adding timers to your games that are real time in a game where frame rate drops due to large numbers on screen. ESPECIALLY if challenges in your game are time based.

the ability to take over ships is extremely annoying, playing on normal i can barely get out anything better than a scout before it gets taken over, i would at least like to be able to get a bomber to the enemy mothership once in a while. other than its an awesome game

i just found out that if you use certain kinds of ships on the same lane, you can dish out a lot of damage without getting much damage to your own ships. later on, after another scan for enemy mines, you should send a whole squad of drones to the same lane where you send out your combination. the best combo would be 2 Ion F., a few Missile F., and a Special. Then bam! you got a near indestructible fleet!

cruisers have no real purpose besides acting as a shield for my bombers to come in. the real weapons are the ion frigates
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ion frigates are the way to go. Just put one on each lane the enemy has units on and then spam it on one lane. They can destroy anything from afar except for enemy ion frigates...

Cruisers might be strong but they're slow and expensive too. In games like this people tend to spam in 1 lane(like the comments suggest), but after experimenting a bit I found out that multiple lanes work WAY better. For example: 1 ion frigate on every lane, and dividing scouts among these lanes will ensure a quick win without waiting until you can use cruisers.

I think the Awlon warp is to powerful. Even when it is weakened u can still spam droid then use shield then warp. Its a garuntee hit on Mothership even if there is a turret. I think u should add a limit of units u can warp or have no warp ability at all.

the homage to Homeworld's games is awesome. That was an under-appreciated game that deserves a Homeworld 3. This is a nice thing in the meantime.

Great game; I really like the "large-scale, epic" feel of it... One step closer to finding a Battlestar Galactica-type game that plays like Battlestar vs. Cylon Base Star scene from the TV show!

You receive money for replaying levels. Its not a lvl complete bonus its a scrap bonus. Just upgrade the scrap corvettes and you can get 500 $ a game you replay..

More money for replaying levels would make this much better, there is so many upgrades and you cant buy much starting out.
