Case in point: I'm on the Awlon campaign, planet Kentis. I can't remember the difficulty but I'm pretty sure I'm on hard. I need to beat it in under 8 min to unlock a bonus level. I beat it in 1:22 using only scouts and bombers.

This game would be a lot better if there was a point to buying things other than bombers and scouts. I've played through 2 campaigns and tried several builds, and still nothing tops bombers spam for dps.

I really liked this game, but a pity the ships aren't controllable. I commend you on the graphics, really good job. A good strategy is to build cruisers and support them with ion frigates.

cant win? cant get the bonus lvls in time? than just use ions, they have rang but take time to shoot so send 2 in each lane(3 will make the enemy send a group of scouts), took me 2 min to kill the enemy almost every time.

Good game but it would benefit from more/different upgrades per race. It was also a bit easy even on the hardest settings and required less strategy than it did willingness to endure repetitive activity. Keep up the good work. I look forward to future versions.

@OneExtraGames: My mistake, I thought "Found Tech" gave you the tech instead of buying it. Not opening the tree for purchase. Revised Rating 3/5 (would be 3.5, but no half points @ Kongregate).

I rofl'd when I found out I could unlock the other modes by clicking a button rather than having to complete an entire campaign. XD

........no wonder the ion cannon for all races is the protoss's anti-battlecruiser superweapon and the defense station of the dark ones is the mothership only without the earthspliter but i gotta say this is one pretty game

For the last level though, I used a different strategy, maxed out production, and all of the Scout ship upgrades, then maxed EMP Charge and Wave and Special regeneration. Turn on autobuild (press 0) in any single lane and just spam EMPS and mines like a madman whenever they warp into your ship or anything gets close enough, wave it back. Easy as pie, takes under three minutes to win like this, scout ships madness!

Maxing the Ion capabilities seems to be all you need to do. It helps if you up the production rate. But ions are extremely hard to kill. The Xeyed version of the Ion can do it, but other than that you're set.
And if they ever are in danger of dying, an EMP blast saves the day.

Hmm... I think I encountered a glitch on the last level.. I accidentally spawned my first cruiser in the wrong lane, so I surrendered and restarted the level. This time an enemy cruiser spawned right next to my mothership! Well, I spawned a Cruiser, it EMP'ed and blasted the enemy cruiser to bits. Then I just reinforced the cruiser with scouts.. My first cruiser along with scout support took out the enemy mothership! It was all over in less then two minutes! Kind of strange.. This was on medium.

Cruiser+Wrap are as deadly as it is. In wave 13 bot sends this combo as a surprise and my base is gone while I have lots units defending the front. :<

I get the impression this was inspired by StarCraft, but it's a very good game. One small niggle, when I resume from the ingame menu, it seems to register the click as me building a ship. Wastes a lot of RP on unwanted ion frigates...
