Can't seem to beat the first map. Can't seem to be able to get a single hit off on the mothership with all those missles it fires. Tried multiple tech combinations, tried bunching my forces up, tried spreading them out. Went afk and apparently the AI can't beat through all those mothership missles shooting at it either...seing as how i'm still alive after being afk for 10 minutes.

lets see, a human type race, a race that uses organic structures and look like classic aliens, and a high-tech alien race that is all powerful. I DONT CARE IF THIS GAME IS "INSPIRED" BY STARCRAFT, BECAUSE IT IS TOTALLY AND FULLY COPYING ITS IDEAS!!! (AND I DONT WANT SOME ONE REPLYING AND SAYING 'THIS ISN'T AN RTS' OR 'THIS IS ALL SET IN SPACE' , CUZ I DONT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Playing as humans was fun and enjoyable and beatable. Now trying the Xeyed and I'm getting my butt kicked. I've tried a few different upgrade combinations but am running out of options, ... and patience. Turning a fun game into a not so much fun anymore game.

I'm about 2/3 through the human campaign and I like it. I wish there was even more customization, more specials, more research etc. but I guess not everybody goes for extensive skill trees. One thing that I've found tiresome is when I want to "farm" cash by replaying levels I get very little. Though again I suppose this is not unreasonable as I assume the money we get from missions is quite enough to win all the maps if using the proper strategy. Other than that I like the overall feel of having a huge mothership under my control and the production values are quite good. Strangely the game seems to be "loosing" the cursor on a regular basis forcing me to click somewhere within the game window in order to regain control (launching a ship in the process) this could be a player specific thing. So far it's a decent 4, I don't see it dropping to 3 unless I encounter something gamebreaking but I'll only consider moving it to 5 if I really like the story after playing all three campaigns.

OMG why does every one hate this game its decent enough the graphics are excelent the story line is okay. and the play style is good every space can be compared to SC but thats like comparing LOTR to EVERY mideval movie that comes out. (wich usally happens by the way) im not being rude, but really give the dude a break. 5/5 :D

@ deathcommander27 this is a RIPOFF VERSION OF STARCRAFT except it has more ships and a completely dif style of playing. it should be like StarCraft: Terran *something* btw u know blizzard has copyright?

Ships really need to stop at maximum firing distance from the mother ship. Targeting is a bit wonky too. Too many ion frigs die because they got too close, then ignored a bomber.

This seems to be a combination of Homeworld and those games where the armies run at each other to get off the other side of the screen. Don't like the controls or the execution.
