mathematically, 4 is the minimum you need to fill any map on 2D surface, maybe a three dimensional version of this game can be made?

This is a fun game, but one thing that is really upsetting my gameplay is that I don't know how many colours I'm aiming for to attain a gold star during the first run-though. It is frustrating to keep trying to finish a puzzle with 3 colours, only to find out that you get a gold for 4 stars anyway. And if I finish the puzzle and find out I didn't get a gold star, I'm forced to go back and completely re-do the puzzle from the beginning.

SHOULD YOU plan a sequel, i would suggest to make more asymmetrical shapes, the symmetrical one's are very easy as long as you color the shapes in a certain order

Please please make another, I would have to say though that making it so that we could pick our own colors would be amazing if you could do that. :-)

Good game. Only problems are, it's kind of easy, and it's too short. I can understand that it could be easy, even the "challenge" mode. But it's way to short. At only 20 levels, it's very short. I wish the game had a "hard mode" and was longer.

What I think this game needs is not more colors, but an option to choose the colors each box uses. So, box one could be blue, box two could be sky blue, box three could be aqua, and box four could be teal. But no more than 4 colors at any one time.

It was mathematically proven that you will never need more than four colours so no user level can be added that will need extra programming

Fun but short. Only 20 levels. Not really challenging with 4 colors. All 20 level gold was a bit of a challenge. Needs more levels for more stars.

While very fun, i wish there was a pause before it jumped to the next one. I'd like to see the combo that worked after all the different combinations i try didn't work

I really enjoyed this game. It's great for if you need something to do for quarter of an hour. This is a nice little diversion.

As stated above, the four color theorem sort of restricts the required number of colors needed. You can get around that by getting away from 2D images. Spheres and Cylinders require more colors, as does a "divided space"
This is an excellent game, if too easy. With the ideas above, you should be able to ramp up the difficulty.

i think there is a purpose for everything in the world, and this games purpose was to make me and other people on kongregate have a great time playing it. i loved it sooooo much :D thank you so much for making it (:

The game is good, but very very easy: I could make a method to start painting from somewhere and then that was enough to paint everything.

I think it just needs to pause for about 1/2 a second when you end the game so you can see how many stars you scored. Fun game though, I'm loving it.
