Would it be possible for you to release the .swf file of this and AW Survivor 2 for offline play via Flash Player Projector? I used to play this when Flash is still supported and it runs smoothly, but the Ruffle Player that Kongregate is using makes the game extremely laggy that it's nearly unplayable.

The art style is great and I loved the first Autumn War, this is fun but I would personally think about focusing on what made the first Autumn War a great game which was it's map movement/rts style gameplay. I loved being able to upgrade units and move them to different strategic locations and watch them battle it out with the undead.

I get that this game is supposed to convey a feeling of helplessness, impotency and nihilism but it's just so depressing. I appreciate how sudden and brutal death can be and how the whole time you know there's no point and that you won't make it, but we need hope. We need a point to this. It can be getting rescued. It can be trying to save other people. It can be finding the truth behind the zombie plague. It can be taking on the whole zombie army by yourself. An impossible goal gives the best of both worlds, as long as it is technically possible. It can give us a practical feeling of impending doom and hopelessness, while it can also give us an abstract feeling of there being a goal. "Save humanity" might be so hard nobody will ever succeed, but knowing you can succeed makes losing so much more tolerable. That however doesn't mean giving us cheap hope, an easy goal, cookie-cutter skills or get out of jail free cards. Not everybody wins, but everybody can win is what I'm trying to say.

i will not lie...neat animations, good gamply..could prob. use some sort of acheivements a kill counter or soome uogrades..everything else aite

Pro tip: you can hold off 1 or 2 zombies with your Totaly epic mixed martial arts skills but anymore will kill you no madder what

Honestly i would like grenades that stop right at the feet of a zombie that would be cool also upgrades like faster hands = faster reload and maybe turrents\survivors (if there is any)

To be fair I actually think it adds to the realism of the game that there are no better weapons. To know that the end is inevitable and trying to postpone it as long as possible is what makes this go so fun and distinct. Besides he crashed in a field where is a better weapon supposed to come from.

Game only goes black when you die. BTW, more updates on this guy's newgrounds page. He is a lone developer on this line of games and hasn't updated this in forever...

Melee seams broken to me. Game goes black every time I get into melee.
Atmosphere is nice but the gameplay is sort of monotone leaving the replay value on a low level.

If you guys love this game and wish the creator would make more, don't give up hope. He actually posted two more updates on his Newgrounds page on the game. He's back, and he explains why he had to lay off for a while. If you want to know whats going on, I would suggest you to go to his newgrounds page.

The Autumn War Series is great, but I think both games are abandoned.. I also noticed the zombies on this game particular are all females (+ if you think this game uses sexism as a motive of pulling the triggar-lol...)

this game really has a place as a triple a title. It has a surprisingly new type of zombie story straying from the usual city survivor and ultra badass themes and replaces it with a more realistic theme where the military is the one doing the fighting. good job game developer
