There's a bug where enemies keep fighting after they should be already dead. I'm not sure how it happens, if I had to guess its when they get feared in a previous room and pick up a new fight when still involved in a previous fight. Sometimes it works when you fear them out of the dungeon, but sometimes it just won't work and you are stuck in an endless fight. Other than that, really great game.

There is an annoying bug: sometimes heroes does not get attacked nor take spells effects... this way they pass throght all the defenses get the treasure and exit...

Not sure if it's intended or a bug, but you can scare heroes off the map with ghost's special if positioned next to entrance. They don't come back. Works on bosses.

I really like this. Its fun but: The achievement announcements during gameplay is super annoying. Blocking ones view and does not have a way to get rid of them as far as i can tell (perhaps the more clearly defined buttons are in play here too?)
Also it would be cool to be able to zoom out more and still actually see whats going on on the screen.

game is fantastic, but it would like it if it wasn't just a series of duels between my monsters and the others, i could have 3 fully upgraded spiders, rats, skeletons, ect... in a room and a single peasant, or boss unit, and they'll each fight him individually and have the chance of losing, instead of all three slaughtering the man in a couple of seconds

Yeah, that new feature doesn't work quite as intended. It's very difficult to actually click on the enemy you want, and when I do, I have some other enemies that waltz through the dungeon completely ignored.

Crud! I restarted the level that I got stuck on in my previous note, and not I'm stuck on it again because of a bug. I had put a dragon in the treasure chamber, and now I have two healers left, running away in fear, but running in place. They are stuck in one spot. I don't know if it was because it was a dragon, because it was the last room, or what, but now I'm going to have to quit on this level again, this time abandoning 3 stars.

Invincible enemies suck. If you somehow manage to scroll off the dungeon, good luck finding it again. Good concept, buggy execution.

Ugh. I'm stuck at an impasse. I have a room with fully upgraded spiders, and the only heroes left are a group of three healers. Neither group can kill the other, even with fireball help. I can't fear them far enough to meet up with anything else. I've tried placing the fear so I catch only one or two, but they return before the spiders can finish off the one left. It's the last room before escaping my dungeon, so I can't clear the room without letting all my treasure out. I think I'm just stuck.

Tons of potential, not quite there yet. Take out all the busywork: Dragging food around, clicking spawn, etc. Let the player just focus on where to put what creatures and when to cast spells. Also, spells need a hotkey and a way to cancel them (escape doesn't work).

One more suggestion if i've unlocked ex. "Spider Nest" I should be able to use it in 1st mission (tutorial) in other words Hard is impossible in the way you've thoughted it out

One thing that i would really like is that all creatures can go 3v1 or 2v1 becouse it's stupid that 1 rat is giving his ass for killing a soldier, but 2 others are standing and doing absolutly nothing.Otherwise great game 5/5

The game is alright, but so many things get in the way of trying to accomplish things in the game. Especially when an achievement pops up at the top of the screen and you can't use a healing spell there.

@Danruk Later levels I agree, but the first 6 or so levels I did on hard with 3 stars on my first attempt. They are certainly possible, just remember, quantity not quality when you spend your money at the beginning.

I find even with the upgrades system in place, once you have a monster upgraded to its full potential, the heroes can still 'run your dungeon' and fail a level a bit too easily. glaring example: only rats are available on 'hard' level in the first tutorial level. even with full upgrade and assistance of the regeneration spell at maximum, its stillnot enough to keep with the 'run through' of heroes and your treasures get stolen.

There's a glitch on the level The Tomb, only seen it on that level where 2 militia entered and walked all the way through every room, grabbed 2 chests and walked out, not once did they get attack, nor hurt by my fire spell
I'd filled every room with max strength no poison spiders and used all the animal upgrades except for the level upgrade one... says master of tombs for me

cause bugs are a mistake not the actual game (in this case), so unlike you, and a few people, you rate games based on how good they are not how many times the developers made mistakes

There are bugs, horrible ones too, just not the ones you're mentioning WLBjork. The main bugs are the invincible enemies or sleeping monsters. Priests that can literally solo your entire dungeon simply because the only thing that hits them is your fire spell, which they can outheal with no problem whatsoever even when maxed.

@WLBjork - did you actually use the upgrade on the lairs in game? The upgrades for a creature type appear around the food for that creature type. Mine are working fine.

Upgrades DO work, but you have to upgrade the nests in the game in order to have an effect (they upgrades cost stuff).

A nice game, but please make sure that it works before uploading.
It appears that the upgrades don't actually do anything - I've tried both Master of Stockbreeding and Magnificent Animals, with no effect.
So far it's 1/5, fix the bugs and I'll happily up it to 4/5.

bugs bugs everywhere... many enemies that can't be hit, the monsters act like they aren't there. sad, really, this game has so much potential.

Check out the updates, they are customizable. You can choose between a standard period "." or you can switch it up with an ellipse "..." by 'show more' or the 'show less' option.

I keep getting invincible bad guy bugs. It's happening with a knight, paladin, and priest right now. They can kill my stuff but I can't kill them. I know it's not me because they've each killed multiple dragons / beholders by themselves and they've been sitting in spider dens for a few minutes now without ever getting hurt / poisoned.

Also, for earlier levels. Always try to max out the newest monsters, and use them instead. Don't even bother with the earlier monsters. The only exception is when you first get the newest monsters as you can't upgrade them, so use the ones before it.
P.S. Sorry for that wall of text, I didn't realize it did that when I tried to space it out.

Not saying this is the best or most entertaining way to play but this is how I played, at least until those invincible units showed up and ruined the game for me ;)
Max out ghosts, all upgrades including fear and the ones for the krypts.
1. Instantly build a ghost lair at the point where all doors meet.
2. Quickly give it the auto/free-buy upgrade.
3. As soon as you can, give it the other upgrades in this order: Monster+, Shield, Level+, then one or two souls.
Note: Giving it Level+ and then souls gives you more than starting with souls first.
4. Repeat the process for all other areas behind it, and then if you want the areas in front. They'll never make it past 3 or so lairs, as far as I've played. (Paladins seem pretty useless.)
5. If you want, you can also build beholdlairs or dragons in front of the ghosts. Monsters only attack one unit, so the ghosts can scare them back into those lairs. (This is pretty interesting, though monsters don't seem to much for me.)
