I'm not really sure what items do in this game. At the start you choose all these different options for your cell. Do they do anything or is it just for looks? I get spikes so i ram people with them, but I still get hurt? What's the point of spikes if you get hurt when using them? Enemies are VERY hard to see. Nearly transparent with a light outline mixed with a light background... I'm on a level collecting sulfur and I finally realize these little tiny white spots on the screen, a pixel wide, are the sulfur. They are so small and blend in almost perfectly with the background, VERy hard to see. Fix teh colors so enemies and items are easier to see, explain what upgrades actually do (Breathe easier? what is the benefit of that?) then it'll get ranked higher.

i cant play this game, everything i click on brings up the options screen, i can move around but that is it, click next it brings up option, click on the skills bar it brings up option, i sit there it brings up options screen, nice options screen, maybe needs a few improvements, like only available from the start screen would be nice.
if it is only my problem then i will blame it on linux flash, since it sucks

Crashed the setup screen. Picked bottom left color, I think I moved skeleton three left, membrane to type 4, then mitochondria 4 left and bam.

Great game 5/5, if only I could play it...my crappy compiter makes my keys stick and my screen lag so fighting even the weakest cell is as hard as the bosses.

I generally like concepts like this. However, the controls feel rather unresponsive (though honestly I never was a big fan of tank-style controls like this). Your enemies seem far more maneuverable than you. Aiming is difficult due to slow turning and enemies that zip around with relative ease. Energy consumption and regeneration is too prohibitive, leaving you desperately trying to escape while enemies relentlessly pursue you, since you don't have the energy to use your weapons. The cell enemy is nearly invisible on my screen, making it hard to tell when I'm really surrounded.
Some of this is probably personal preference and relative lack of skill with games with this type of control. But the controls really do feel unnecessarily challenging, and I prefer my challenges to come from things like dangerous foes and environments or intricate tasks.

This is a really excellent game- I gave it a 5/5. There are some kinks to work out, i.e. sometimes in the levels where you need to survive for a certain amount of time, the countdown never begins, but all in all, its a fun, well-rounded game with an interesting premise that, once you start playing, is very little like the EA game SPORE, which beyond the first five minutes of the game is not played by a cell.

why does the screen suddenly dissapears when i start the game? i press new game, start customizing it and suddenly i only get the blue wobbly scrreen. i wont give points yet but if it aint fixed, i have to give it a 1/5 cuz i cant play at all

Bugs:
1) If you skip the tutorial, it plays during the first level.
2) Find the hidden exit levels sometimes don't light up and count down, though it still pass you if you know where the area is and stay in it long enough.

It's very good, but too hard. It looks like there is a lot of potential with the power-up system, but the abilities seam too weak so far. I am preserved and it with full regen, I have to sit still for 15 seconds to even get one hp back. That's painfully slow and not worth it. Also I maxed spike and armor, but I can barely kill one enemy per level even on easy, and sometimes not even one. It seams like they must get harder too, because I am level 5 and feel weaker than before. Also the rules are kinda hard to understand. I don't know what causes you to lose and gain energy. Also, I have gotten to the point where it takes so much nutrition to split cells, that I can't gather enough for even one split and it all goes away when you die or I think when you leave the level? I am stuck in the form that I am in.
On the positive side, it looks great, it's fun, the movement works well, and it has a great upgrade system.

The only mistake I see so far in this game is a typo - the "passive" lacking the E in the ability interface. Other than that...well, let's just say I wonder where all my sleep will go this week *grin*

Very awsome :) For (seemingly) being the first day that this is out, and the first version of this released, there are no bugs :) which makes this game even more fun to deal with xD
I'd love to see what you'd do to this to make a sequel out of it, that would be an epic game... and like its been said, yea it did remind me of Spore, which is cool because it is like that, but this game adds its own aspect to the development of the evolution and spreading of a cell and its self. Badges would be cool, but this game is awsome enough not to need them yet xD

This is a pretty cool game my only complaint is that the levels get hard to fast. Things that may improve this is easier early on boss's or more easy-normal levels. I like the upgrade system and the cell editor though. Did find one bug where I got trapped in a current and couldn't move so I had to restart that level. Other than that I think this deserves a 4/5

very fun game...if there is any idea of somehow making this game multiplayer it would be very fun....rate this comment if you like this game and want a way of multiplayer.

Loving the game so far, yet to find any bugs and enjoying it immensely. Keep up the great work. Will be sure to submit bug reports if I fin any. (Oh, and add the Kong API.)

Nice spore/game of life type game - difficulty build nicely depending on your designs. Would be nice if the initial design screen had more info about how choices make a difference 4/5. If this is just a beta, can't wait for the final version!
