As soon as I had just begun the game, I immediately disliked it. However, after playing for five or ten minutes, I found myself just hating it. Not for me, I guess. 3/5

Great game, hope there are more to come. I'm pooped out from rowing that boat back & forth though & evil spirit monsters hate splinters too huh? 5/5

Pastel games are some of my favorite developers with their unique art styles of games. However, this game looks really ugly. After playing for 5 mins my eyes are hurting.

Oh snap! Hopefully later that night when they're putting their mouths all over each other's naked bodies he'll notice. First someone should go and help the tram guy though, because by the end he still hadn't even touched the alcohol I bought him. He'll be so happy when he realizes how much better it is to drink it than look at it. Anyways, all in all I found the whole thing awfully easy and barely even had to stop to think (including to strongly suspect the priest right away. Nobody trusts priests, even when there aren't any children around), which is probably good because if things weren't so obvious I'd likely be lost when attempting to so much as navigate a room - the artwork is nice, but it can also be rather disorienting at times as the black and white style really tends to blend together, making things difficult to make out. It was fun, I'd say that maybe it should just be a tad more challenging and the art a bit clearer.

That's terrible. As in almost all early Pastel games, the graphic style makes it impossible to navigate and to notice the objects that we can pick up or interact with. The music is okay, but then there's this loud, obnoxious spooky sound, which I guess was supposed to be unsettling, but it's just so loud that it hurts to listen. And it plays every 5 seconds or so. And most puzzles are basically "get the key, open the door" kind of stuff. Just awful.

I enjoyed the game, creepy, but the plot was lacking in some respects. It really doesn't make sense that the detective called the boss "a pawn." How, exactly, was he involved at all? And assuming he was, -why-? You never explained that. And actually... "the priest did it" is...well, nearly as old a concept as "the butler did it." It was also a little short. At least...I think 11 minutes of gameplay is short. Nonetheless, A for effort.

Fairly mediocre story (with cheesy dialogue from the villain), hard to see items, and non-intuitive plot triggers (most particularly the one in the restroom after seeing the boss).

The artwork was all well and good, but it was a bit too hard to locate the hidden items. Plus, if you look through the binoculars above the bar, the now broken tower appears fine. Beside this, a superb game and a fantastic storyline.

Great game & illustrations. Minor annoyance with directional clicking.... I was searching for something & kept going back & forth on the boat.... grr

Why would I do what is obviously for the revival of a vampire when what I have to do is look for a missing girl ?
I'm talking of the purify-the-cristal-skull-and-put-it-on-the-old-armor stuff...
IRL, I'd NEVER do that.

is it just me or do other people play the game and then come back and play it again feeling like a boss because you know what to do.

I give up. I can't get the key out of the boss's office, I can't open certain doors, I can't figure out the password to Anna's computer. There's no walkthrough, so I have no idea what people are talking about when referencing it because it does NOT exist! I'm getting really sick of trying to play these impossible games and having to give up!

you lose one star by default. why? Because i'm sick and tire not being able to make the kongregate screen bigger and instead having to have it at a fixed size. why do i zoom in? so it's bigger. where do i zoom in besides flash sites? NO WHERE! now fix that and i'll see what i should rate it based on gameplay, dunno yet, but you lost a star already.
