"Oh man, no one will ever find these photographs after I put them in my super-secret safe behind a portrait! Oh hang on, let me take a picture of myself in front of it. Now I'll leave it on the floor! Ha! Try and get into that safe now!"

I would like to combine all the clues by myself on the board. Just like the last game. This time seems too straight forward when all the clues almost solved automatically. But still, great game

Nice atmosphere, but the click boxes are a bit strange. Interface-wise, it'd be much less frustrating if it were clear when I was going to be sent back to the previous screen, or even where to click to go back, in some cases...

I'm stuck at ABMA, I've got the killer fingerprints on his right hand and on the car wheel and also the car number, but I can' find the last one... By the way, I hate the walkthrough...

Ok, finished it...left wondering what the point of all that was.
I checked out the walkthrough to see if I'd missed anything. "Search for clues" is not the kind of phrasing that is on par with the helpfulness expected of something that, by definition, is meant to walk you through the game. Anybody who's having trouble finding one of the clues and checks the walkthrough would be horribly frustrated by the lack of detail.
Meanwhile, I'm still wondering what the point of it all was.

Why would the guy take a picture of himself next to his vault with the correct code in it. Taking pictures next to safes isn't weird at all.

Also wow, this walkthrough is a national treasure. It's so vague and riddled with mistakes I'm much better off clicking wildly and hoping for the best.

I just found another anachronism. The real Erich Hartmann was a German Luftwaffe pilot during WWII, but he died in 1993 and never worked for the U.S. Government. Wernher von Braun died in 1977. This was a fun game, but I really wish they had thought historical facts and contexts out more carefully.

To reach second page of the diagnosis codes book, hover your mouse slowly over the text on the upper half of the page - the cursor will change when you reach the clickable region. You may have to exit + return to the book a couple of times ( at least I had to! ).

why god he brushed the gas cap, but not the top of the trunk,
unless the killer used his butt to close it im pretty sure thats the most obvious place to get the killer prints, since its prolly the last place he could remember clean, but really? the gass caps?

Love this game, the walkthrough needs a little work, though. 'Search for clues'. Dammit! That's what I needed help with!

Outside of the apartment I used the PO Box key on the box and I cannot open the box even though the key disappeared and a confirmation sound was made. I don't know if it's an issue of the grey frame around the flash player keeping me from clicking in the correct spot or if I missed a step or clue somewhere.

The graphics are cool, but you have to have played these kind of games where you have to find items because you often use them for the weirdest things. "Yes! Let's break into cars!" Me: Um, aren't we supposed to be investigating crime, not committing it?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game gets frustrating, not because you don't know how to piece together the clues, but the game is finicky in figuring out what to click in order to progress.

In one of the letters you can find in the post box it says "Welcome to Ebensee". This is funny, I actually live there.

I liked it, but... 1) the responsiveness of the mouse clicks was very poor - it took a few seconds each time I clicked on something for it to react 2) there was no tutorial or text in the Instructions section that things that glimmer should use the brush on 3) the walkthrough is so vague that it cannot help you if you are stuck on finding a certain clue #

ok so the 6 clue at the apartment is eluding me....and the walkthrough is crap, what's the story here guys? The walkthrough is useless, anyone find all 6 clues at the apt?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not much better than a pixel hunter which is a pity. It's so close to being a good game. I'm stuck in the apartment and the walkthrough doesn't actually tell you WHERE the clues are!

@Blackskull8642.
You have no idea how real that ending is. In the US that is a real problem since leads and evidence goes cold or becomes a dead end when the criminals move to another police departments area. The time it takes for a case to be moved to another police department leaves the criminal with a lot of time to get away. At least in the time the game is set in. The 50's didn't have computers with internet so digital versions of evidence could be sent to the other side of the country in a few seconds.
This game gives a very realistic look into how detective work was done, in a half-legal/illegal way during the 50's.

I agree with a lot of people on here who are saying that you seem to just be finding things to click. I was having a decent time until I hit a point where I couldn't find a couple clues, and that's when I realized I was just clicking the sh-t out of every little clue to find what I missed. It's a cool game though, the art is fantastic, I like that there isn't too much in the way of annoying music... I'd give it a 2.5 if I could, but since I can't, it's a 3/5. Good luck on any future projects.

mostly random clicking hoping for finding clues
too many place changes where clues could (should ?) be placed
I'm going out of the apartment when I click on the piece of furniture !
useless walkthrough
I miss 1 clue I can't even find with thouroughly clicking every squared inch of the screen, the walkthrough tells me : "search for clues"
don't deserve better than 1
