Wonderful! A lovely rich story with very logical step, which makes a nice change. The art is superb. The whole game is gorgeous.

@KitariSan I don't know of another Trader of Stories game, but they have a BUNCH of other awesome games on their website! www.pastelgames.com

Beautifully made, the hand drawn picture with soothing music and simple gameplay, i really like the feeling the game gave off. Easily 5/5 for me.

So for anyone who gets stuck where I did, you have to make the amulet of power before it lets you make the potion of drowned people.

As soon as I finished this game, I took a minute to fully appreciate the story, music and art before straightaway rushing to the sequel!

One day I hope to play a full bore game about this amazing character! I've loved both this far, and can't wait for the next one!

It is an amazing game, the story is beautiful, it made me sob a little, so sad, but i really enjoyed the game, i loved everything, thank you for creating it.

Great story, great art, but mediocre gameplay.
Active areas need to stand out far more. I missed lots, and if not for the walkthrough, I'd give it 1 star. The walkthrough is a video though, so only 3 stars. Like, I spent about an hour trying to figure out how to make a potion. And I failed at guessing, how to do it. To illogical for an adventure game.
Oh, and the font. It's very nice, but extremely hard to read.

Great game, but I'm giving it one star because there is a huge bug- I played the game twice and followed a walkthrough the second time, but every time I meet Derrida it will no longer let me talk to the mayor and there is no item to give him to complete the game.

After meeting Derrida at the lake it wouldn't let me talk to anyone, mainly the mayor who I needed to talk to to continue the game.

Great game, great visuals, and great music. It all blends perfectly together. I would totally enjoy another adventure of hers. :) 5/5

Great game!! Love point and clicks but this one was really good :) But when I told the mayor the story I got really upset cause I felt bad for making him feel bad :(

Hello everyone, the sequel is here (and is as gorgeous as this one): http://www.kongregate.com/games/mrudi/a-grain-of-truth

I love how you can just take stuff from people without them caring lol
A great game, awesome art and really nice music. 5/5

When making the amulet and the potion, USE A FLINT TO START THE FIRE FIRST. I've put the pot on the oven and used the flint after it and had to start the game again.

Excellent music, beautiful draws, interesting and lovely story, and not too easy game.
Just one of the best game for me.

The body of water can be reached by clicking the left side of the town hall building, seeing the balcony and then clicking the water in the distance. The water lily (lilium) is floating in the lake. You will come back there to use the potion for the drowned. It's where you will meet Derrida to get his story.

I look forward to the next tale. Really enjoyed the game. Was a bit difficult to follow at times. Arrows would have helped but that would have made it too easy. Love the music. Played it a second time just to listen to the score.
