What is limiting how much I can upgrade between levels? I have the money, but I don't see any counter that is like "You can only have 10 upgrades by this level" or anything like that. Help?
Its to balance the game out, and spread the upgrades across all 18 levels, otherwise you could just not buy a new car for a while and then upgrade all of your stats to max after only a few levels.

y'know, it would be more fun if there were more unlockable cars
to use. one of my suggestions was the called the SUPERSONIC
it is a golden car with more stats than the legendary

Fun, good casual game that keeps you coming back. The upgrade system makes sense and everything is obtainable. Only, it needs more rats.

Wow, on the 18th level right at the end - me and an opponent were so close to the finish that it said 2nd when I finished but when the menu came up it said first :D Great game, should also have air timefor getting turbo.

On level 7 the achievement says "knock over all taffic cones" just thought that the devs might want to see they spelled something wrong. 5/5

I managed to complete all the challenges and win all the races without the lastest update... it was hard but that was what made it fun. People need to stop complaining and try harder. Its a great game.

I was frustrated on level 15 trying to get all the coins until I used legendary. Don't get any turbos and just tilt back on every jump and you get the coins. Tricky game to make it so car specific but fun to try and figure out nuances.

Simply being a safe driver and avoiding any crashing to get the daily badge got me first place. What a good lesson this game teaches.

Play first race.
Reaches first place with crappy default car.
Gets easy badge in 1.5 minutes since start. xD
Some other games made me play for 20 minutes before getting an easy badge.
I may come back later for other badges.

The comeback AI on this game is absurd. Oh what's that? You have a full turbo with the Tardis and are practically on a straightaway to the finish? Lemme just let this passenger bus zoom past you to beat you.

WOW!!! For me, playing the racing games on this site for some time now,this one is ultimately the best ever. Lots of challenges that can be
worked on until completed in each level, cool vehicles, lots of upgrades,
can be reset when completed, great graphics, a lot of levels, levels are
stored so you can leave and come back to where you left off. Great,

There needs to be a button made for when you get stuck,you can hit this button and go to the respawn rather than wait for the game to take you there automatically

I found that using the mini car or the delorean was the best for beating level 18. Another trick is the first couple times, no matter how bad you are doing, just play through the whole level so you know what to do on which obstacles (jump or back wheelie) and when its ok to do tricks.

Not a bad game, but irritating how all upgrades keep getting locked out after I purchase 4 upgrades. If I've got the cash, I should be able to spend it!
It might be a bit irritating but its much more balanced, it spreads the upgrades across all of the levels. Without the locks you would be able to replay the first few levels a few times then upgrade everything to max, which would make the rest of the game far too easy.

The fact that after all these years this little game HOLDS UP SO WELL makes me so happy, and knowing there is a Mobile port with an exceptional quality, it makes me and all the people who played and replayed the heel out of this super proud <3

all of the levels work fine, but on the last level i experience a major amount of lag, preventing me from finishing first, any fixes for that?

Level 18 feels like Mario Kart... you are in first place most of the time and right before the finish line someone gets past you out of nowhere

I don't comment very often, but I had to say something about your latest update:
1) You made a double reference, that's a good thing and anyone who had a problem with it should've been ignored.
2,4,5) All good changes, those levels were tricky and players shouldn't have to choose between cosmetic changes and meaningful upgrades.
3) Did you have to change that right after I finally managed to deliver all the ice cream? ;p Seriously, though, Hard badges are supposed to be hard. Before I finally managed that one I was resigned to the possibility that I might only get 20pts out of this game and that's not a bad thing to have happen occasionally.

FYI, you do NOT need to get all coins on all stages to get the hard badge.

Race 18 is a beating to get thanks to one of the drivers using the legendary car, but not impossible. If that car crashes and you don't, all you have to do is get enough turbo to actually make use of his loss. Speaking of, @bradmax, that's the reason you'll sometimes have the exact same outcome regardless of a crash. The other racers are far from perfect, and sometimes it comes down to luck. The legendary car, for instance, is so fast that it'll actually be a problem in some stages. Use it on race 10 and you'll hit the ceiling at least once on a jump where nobody else comes close to hitting it. Almost caused me to crash in that area because I was focusing on getting in flips for turbo. If my wheels hit it, I'd probably have thrown myself completely off-course.
