Weird mix of story (with hints of a grander background, or just random) and a let's-call-it-platformer. Interesting, but still some drawbacks: You can't go back in the "story" screens. Don't like that at all :/ The music... would be a lot less annoying if it didn't have such a strong variation in volume. The controls... maybe this is just a problem on my end, had a similar problem back then with Portal: Flash, but often when I died or changed the screen, it would register a key pressed at that time as still pressed, until that key was pressed and lifted again. The lives... I managed to get through at first try, despite the mentioned problems which caused probably half of my deaths, so I don't really see that much sense in them except for that achievement. It just feels unnecessary.

Wonderful game, like the look, overall quite fun and simple enough...but like that guy down there mentioned, one of the songs is definitely out of Animal Crossing, so that does make me wonder about where you were getting all your music from.

Okay, Great idea, poor execution. The effects of the gravity change (The way he spins around) are cool, but are very confusing in my opinion.

it was fun i played half way till i figured out this is one of those games where it sometimes goes one way indefinately for no apparent reason. After much frustration i finished it but it was still fun :) 4/5

Text moves too damn slow-change it so when you hit space it stops scrolling and shows all of it, like a zelda game or whatever.

Great game 4/5 has a few glitches but nothing major however controls become a pain in the arse because it changes with direction also slider's using mouse while changing gravity and moving use wasd and arrow key make me have to fumble for my mouse
those arguments aside very fun game nice music and challenging too hope you bring something else out

Poor designer - I'll explain why, but first the positive: The assets used were great. Animation and graphics were superb - better than 95% of the content on kongregate. Music was amazing too (lacked sound, but meh). Whoever made the maps (not the puzzles) did an amazing job.
The puzzles, however, were mostly boring, and some features were never properly introduced (the slider is one). There is a great village to explore, but you can't explore. The story could have been more thought out (premise is great thogh - it's the actual rescue cat+dog that bothers me).
This is what happens when you get a great team, but the programmers and designers are clueless. Shame on you for ruining great graphics, premise and music with this.

Great game. I was a little confused as to why the sliders weren't used in much more than an introduction. Also, when flipping gravity, Amil doesn't go in a straight line often missing out some of the collectables and sometimes getting some that ought to be way out of reach.

I can guess you had Cave Story has inspiration on this. ;) For the longest time I have been searching for a flash game on Kongregate that was similar to Cave Story - and I think I just found it! I'm a sucker for these 16-bit style games, and what you have here is an unnoticed gem in flash gaming. Adventurous and memorable, I am happy to add this game to my favorites. :)
