Found a bug: if you couldnt kill the boss at the end of the level just click the pause button and you will be able to kill it! Just need to see trough the update menu.

Also, you might want to keep some enemies around when you do the bosses, especially the water/fire bullets, as they do more damage than normal ones. Just catch them and throw them at the boss :P

The modes aren't that hard once you play it a few times =)
The only annoying thing I have experienced so far is that it somehow removed my hiscore on Captain mode twice now (both got me to the no. 1 spot...)
As for General mode, think about how you spend your updates :P
I usually save up some cash, buy the damage/speed upgrades when it only costs ~10% of my money, and put all the upgrade points on Investment, except for three points on the all-round shield at level 25-30 :)

I've just readed alot of the comments and the most of then are walkthrough like things. The most have alot different ways of playing. My advice is to just play how you want and how you feel best with, but follow those walkthroughs if you want.

A great game, but i find the bosses on hard extremely anoying, havent killed any of them, since a) they are freaking hard to hit for something that large and b) no matter the upgrades i just cant do enough damage to them.

The strategy for beating this game is actually fairly simple. Buy one energy infuser after the first level, then stop spending your money except for repairs until any level ending in 9. Put all your bonus points into investment. On any boss level (ending in 9) buy 3 or 4 infusers and a couple of shield bounces. You should be able to take out the boss with at least a minute left to spare. If you're having trouble dying, buy the energy shield and a couple of cells for it. By level 30, you should have level 9 bounce and infuser with around 400,000 to get interest on, and be getting 200,000 interest every turn. More if you're not on general

A tip for before you get the sticky shield. Put your mouse right over your target and almost every time if the missile hits your shield you will hit that target.

Overall a good concept, but I have to agree with the earlier post about the fact that the Antimatter Shield and the Sticky Shield both use the mouse button. Too often I am trying to catch and fire things back at the tanks, and after buying the Antimatter Shield, it destroys most of the missles I am trying to catch. Take the mouse button and use it for the Sticky Shield, and only use the space bar for the Antimatter Shield.

Oh and when you do get to Level 40, it's not Dodgeball anymore because you will be bouncing back alot of shots while catching and throwing them too. So call it Dodgeminton.

oh yea almost forgot, 6. NEVER BUY REPAIR KITS! They are complete shit and waste your money. Just stick with your sheilds when playing a level and Repair Base in the shop.

Incase people have a hard time before Level 40, have some tips: 1. ALWAYS buy the upgrade with the lowest amount AKA Sheild Bounce, Energy Infuser, Energy Cell, Upgrade Base, repeat. 2. ALWAYS repair damage from your base, even if it's 1 damage. 3. Buy both Sticky and Static Sheilds when you can before Level 5-6 to get yourself ready. 4. Do NOT buy any of the first 5 upgrades in the Bonus Shop until you have The Exploder, Heatseekers, E.M.P., Inferno and Antimatter Sheild. Once you have all 5 of those, dont bother with Investment, just buy the first 4 if you can. and 5. Good luck on Level 40 and over, your one your own from there.

Everyone who hates the Game Over screen: Be glad it's only about 5 seconds. In most games, flash AND Video Game, the Game over screen take about 8 or 10 seconds before you can choose restart, so be glad it's only 5 in this one.

phew..finally got there...some useful information - 1. the game gets hard beyond level 40 2. there is no more dodge ball after level 40 - there are too many enemies and too many bullets and we need to rely on bouncing the bullets onto the enemies 3. don't invest bonus points on interest, use it on anti matter shield, heat seekers, inferno, emp and reducing damage from everything other than shells, in that order 4. shield bounce + heat seekers is a nice combo 5. make sure to perform full upgrades on energy infuser, then use earnings to get at least 120 energy, 250 base health 6. take all your luck into level 50!

It's an interesting and fun game, but I agree that 50 levels is overkill. I'm also slightly annoyed that beating the game comes down to having properly allotted your skill points or getting lucky with the enemies. I wasted my skill points on too much interest - which of course becomes useless once you hit the upgrade cap (hurr durr shoulda seen that coming) - and had to replay and replay the last few levels until I got lucky with enemy fire being more spread out. It was still better than replaying 50 levels.

If you're playin on general difficulty:
1-Make sure you get E.M.P and antimatter shield ASAP!
2-Then get Heatseeker, then explode.Then buy fireproofing and resonant shield.
3-Buy sticky shield ASAP.
4-Get ready to be trolled by big red and blue tanks 40+ levels.

I really don't see myself playing this for 50 levels. It gets boring so very quickly.
The first few levels its like pong, after you get sticky shield it gets easier - but also boring a lot faster.
Ah well, quick and easy medal.

To addon - After level 40 or so it gets EXTREMELY more difficult. Be ready for that - also, I tried to take out the ballistics tanks first, although 40+ levels you really can't choose what to hit.

The strategy I used for general was not spending my bonus points until the allaround shield. You want to do this FIRST because youll find the game can be unfair, and have projectiles coming from all directions at the same time at you. As for the money upgrades, I just upgraded everything, usually whatever was lowest level on the time - energy cells are important because they'll keep your all around shield working. I also got sticky shield/static shield as soon as I could. Next, I got homing missiles. These are useful when you can't really take the time to aim, and besides the missiles themselves are slow and hard to hit with. This makes them much more useful. I also tried to have a couple of repair kits, but only when I couldn't beat the level without them. To be honest you'll have levels based on luck, unless you buy a LOT of repair kits. Just have to hope you don't get a level in which the tanks constantly shoot at the same time - all around shield doesn't last forever.Hope I helped!
