To Be Immortal Is Not To Be Unkillable, But To Never Be Forgotten. As Long As Someone Is Remembered, The Hint Of Their Existance Will Never Die. Those We Remember, Are Forever Immortal.

This is just amazing, I almost cried. You can tell that this game was made t give you a message, it's just something that makes you stop and think about life.

Absolutely beautiful game. Made me feel so much, so deeply. I've been looking for an experience like this on here and I found it. Thank you for this message. 5/5

I wouldn't say the aliens forgotten if you look the main achievement's called lasting memories, and the end of the game is the little girl and her mother crying over the aliens body. The mother leaves then the little girls stays as long as she can but they have to get out of the cold and away from the war zone. Thus with tears in their eyes they reluctantly leave. and the ending says "(live) forever immortal". i think its saying that the little girl will never forget what the alien had done for her. that way he'll forever live in her memories

I killed the mother due to my ineptness. . .the farmer guy got hit about a million times but managed to survive. My congratulations.

I just sit here feeling like I just died and lived in the girls heart and I think as a stranger everyone just makes fun of you and will like the soldiers metephoricaly "shoot" you. 5/5

I think it's sad that the little girl seems to be the only one who really remembers you. All the others leave and stop crying, but she's still crying as she walks away...

It's kinda sad... Especially (spoiler alert) at the end, if you save the whole family, they leave you in the snow. cold. alone.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It really makes you think, because when you get the live ending, it says forever immortal, which I'm assuming you live in the memories of the family. Very nice game.

At first it was a game full of feels for both the family and alien...after both parents and the boy dies and the girl survives, she start lagging behind while I rushed forward. I saw those soldiers completely ignore the little girl lagging behind and shot towards the alien. So then I'm all, "This family all died because of me."

that last sentence also reminds me about the two great wars... And a game called valiant hearts which was about the war. This game is telling you to remember what you love especially if they die. Although it is not telling you to grieve constantly

then again if you think about it... The game may be showing how different people react to different things. If i saw an alien sure i may shoot it once... But if it were protecting people i would instantly stop. So this game may be showing certain peoples emotions to certain things meaning it is telling you to not always look at scary creatures or objects as somthing you need to destroy.

i have many mixed emotions about this game. It is really sad but at the start it is happy. Stop messing up my mind game!

This game was created to be immortal in our hearts it was not meant to be played or to be enjoyed it was made to live.
It was meant to create somethings in our heart, something to help us become who we are meant to be, it shows us what we are,it was meant to CHANGE

something i noticed at the end is that everyone stops crying before they leave, except the girl. to me, that means she moved on, but still missed you, whereas the rest simply forgot about you.

Ah, I remember how I played this when I was like, 10, and I always hought I had lost because it was bugged. Now *sniff* I... BWAAAAAAAA
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I played this game when I was younger and I didn't fully understand the message, but now I see what's happening fully, I feel like I've turned from the alien from the beginning, young, ignorant. to the alien at the end. wise and old. and compassionate.

5/5 For allowing slo-motion when we're being targeted by multiple enemies. Also, I wish there was some sort of command button that would tell everyone to huddle up and stop moving around so much..
