I agree with Arcran, expect I know that the Alien is not forgotten by the family, who could forget that giant hulking thing?

this is a very powerful and thought-provoking... I hesitate to call it a game. It's up there with other games on the site such as Gray, and The Majesty Of Colours, and further afield, The Stanley Parable and Papers, Please. This is an example of video games as artwork.

While Humanity slaughters itself, they bring suffering not only to themselves, but to the world. we have no right to do this. This is not game. This is art. We all love this brilliant piece of artwork, and it shall live forever in our hearts. This is what it means to be ImmorTall. Never forget.
This is on my playlist, Favorited, and is undoubtedly 5/5.

The more people that are lost, the more desperately the girl holds on to the alien, it being one of the last people she cares about. If enough people die, she allows herself to di and be buried in the snow with the alien. It's a beautiful game with many underlying messages about friendship and love. Amazing. 5/5

If both the parents die, then the little girl practically clings to the alien and the boy always stays about five paces behind the alien. After it dies, the boy just walks off and the girl stays with the alien, allowing herself to be buried in the snow with it. Holy crap, this is a deep game.

great game, lots of messages of peace. i really like how that alien didn't even know what humans were,but he still defends them.very sad when you die.i like the music and messages. the main messages are.1) so what if you don't know them help them. 2)war and death should stop. 3) BLOODSHED IS NOT NECESSARY.i do like CoD and bf4 but war is not coll neither is death. i wrote thisw because i played the game it was very sad to see that alien die. i played the game because of my dead kitten i will always remember him (my kitten) and this game. thanks for reading guys.

i cryed at the end it was just so beutiful it says to me that if your are kind in the hardest times in life you will be repaid in a way that you need the most (in this case protection) even thou the alian never even knew these people they were kind to it and he repaid them in protection ;-;

Am I missing something? Is there a shield button or something? I keep dying tryng to protect the humans. There isn't an "end" im just there, dead.

love the concept or should i say idea behind this game it shows that even people who are distant and diffrent have emotions or rather the abilities to protect other this angers me because right after i played this game i was reminded of how so many people are against gay rights.

I played twice. Once where I didn't let harm come to the family and once where I did everything I could to keep the alien alive. I felt like a dick the second time.

This is the saddest game ive played.. The poor girl has her whole family killed and then is left with the alien, wounded and then it died and she was sad and never left the spot the alien died. Truely touching.

This game earned my first ever comment on this website. I was touched. My eyes are watering. Why did the alien have to die? He looked so sad!

amazing. and all the alternate endings with each one sending a different message - it really killed me every time a bullet hit the alien.

Mhm... To all the numb-brains who say the game is short:
This game is meant to be a work of emotional art (And stuff since I ain't very good at this -_-) It is not meant to be a kong action game -_-

This... is an intresting game. It's an expression. An alien arrives, a stranger to the world, & is loved instantly by the girl. The alien is then loved by her family, & it grows, until they become war torn, & it protects them... Until it's eventually killed... They mourn it... but not long after, it's forgotten. It's a beuatiful game, but... tragic, at the same time. To anyone who finds this a boring game, imagine the humans you're protecting to be your own family... I did that, it made me feel awful about war. 5/5
