As Superman said "Humans fear what they can't control", and the city was afraid of the Alien, because they could'nt control him, even though he was friendly

Hey family, I just found this blob looking thing in the backyard, let's go for a quick stroll through the trenches to celebrate !

If only the girl survives in the end she will not leave the body of alien when snow starts raining, instead she just cries there as she got nothing else left and gets burried by the snow.

I cried with the girl at the end, as I watched pixelated snow fall, so did the tears. This game was powerful, and I love and hate the developer so much right now... I need more tissues.

The internet is made up of many games, action packed games that prevent you from being bored, idle games which to me are pretty stupid, and games that hit you in the heart causing you to think. I came here thinking, this would be one of the horrible games I hate playing. Well, you can't judge a book by its cover. I played the game not knowing its true meaning until I realised... Hey, the alien is walking slower... And in the end, HE/SHE died... I can't say "its" is an it, he or she has feelings, war is horrible, this is one of the games that make you feel that this earth is becoming worse and worse... These people try to make the earth a better place, though many people just ignore the meaning... I could continue this but it would just waste your time, more of these games should be made. 10 stars out of 5.

I can just imagine what that alien was feeling.
What did I do? Why are they doing this?
These innocent people, why do they have to die?
Why? 5/5 for sure.

This game is awesome, but if you reload to many times or something you can't walk past this tree because you're somehow faster than the camera...

Really nicely made, and made me kinda emotional. I hadn't noticed how the dad always runs out in front and then retreats when soldiers come until someone where mentioned it. Agreed that that's a really nice touch.
On second playthrough, I just ignored the family, mashed the right-arrow key, and eventually hit an invisible wall. :\ Was hoping to see some sort of alternate ending...

I wouldn't really call it a game, but at the same time this is a beautiful piece of art, and I love it. It is very emotionally gripping.

This game is one of those, rare, beautiful games. Simple graphics (but that's what I love in games :) ) but the true beauty is hidden deep below the surface. The music has a very sad and depressing tone, and I had to play it more then once. Some people don't understand true beauty, and I feel sorry for them that they can't understand how marvelous these types of games are. Amazing work! :D

I cried because, in my attempt to protect the family. The only one who survived is the little girl, and she never left. She just sat there in the snow beside me. Very touching. 5/5

I think that it wasn't the bullets but the war the hatred it must live off love and affection that's why it grew when it was being cared for and adored but the war must have been what weakened the alien not the bullets and missiles...

There's a second message to this game that seems to have been missed. After protecting the family all I could, I went back and replayed the game - but this time I only looked out for myself, and let them die. I still died in the same place - but this time I was alone and unmourned. It's only through helping others that our lives -and our deaths - can mean anything.
