The controls absolutely do not do what I want them to do. Main units move in opposite directions, pixels rush and fall back when not told to do so. Horrible control. Seriously this is a horrible game.

I love it when a bombing run lands perfectly on my base, and the base is too slow to escape. It's just the best when the game screws you over without any way to defend against it

I have always liked this game. It doesn't deserve all of the hate it's getting today. The controls are not perfect, but they are not unusable. I have seen much worse get BotD. At least this game isn't a F2P grindfest.

And it could be easily fixed by applying the 'strategic pause' when you can order units what to do, while the game is paused.

Damn, there's another BoTD I won't be getting. The gameplay makes no sense. The controls are so complicated I can't figure them out. It's not like I'm a lvl 1 Kong noob here. This game blows.

The game is fun, and I have found no problems with the controls. Zirenaz, try the games before you rate them 1/5. Great game, 4/5.

I really hate how my pixels stop to fight if they meet any hostile pixels along the route I drew. Like really, if a blue army manages to cross paths with my smaller army, my army doesn't retreat, oh no, they really want to kill themselves. Good game otherwise

Despite all the comments about the controls, I really enjoyed this game. It has a familiar concept to some other games, however it just wasn't executed very well. Overall, probably a 3/5 or 4/5 game.

Finally got the medium badge! I had to take out one of the guys on the outer sides, so I wouldn't get all the attention. Then, when they had taken out eachother, I took out the last remaining.

1/5 no strategy required. all you do is afk-farm pixels then blitz your opponent with it all. literally beat the first 3 stages with this brainless tactic. easy game the only strategy component i can find is when to stop playing this snooze game. the answer is as soon as possible because the game is easy. 1/5 put some challenge in the game.

I came and got the easy badge and left. It's back as badge of the day and it's the medium badge. I don't need the shiny kongpanion that bad. I do NOT like this game. I can't get my pixel clusters to go where I need them and it's very hard to even know where to send them.

I see I got the easy badge in 2010. I replayed the first 4 levels and recalled why I stopped. Jumpped to level 24 and killed the boss on the 3rd try and got the badge. Leaving and probably will never look back.

I just realized that Pixelante made other games that I also liked, specifically Dragon Age Legends and ImmorTall. Too bad he was last on Kongregate on Jan. 21, 2014 and he hasn't update his website since Sept. 30, 2014.

"You acquired this badge on Jun. 10, 2010." Wow, I beat the game over 8 years ago, and I STILL remember it, and in a good way. As for the complaints about controls, keep in mind that if your forces get intercepted they will stop to fight, similar to how real people will stop and attack back if they get attached. To get around this, click and drag again and you pixels/base will resume their movement.

I found the medium badge much easier to do if I went on the offensive first, rather than waiting for the enemies to destroy each other. I went to the left first straight away, then to the next one, then up to the top (waiting for the bombs to clear), then finished off the other two. Completed it first try playing offensive, whereas I failed multiple times playing defensive.

How hard the medium badge turns out being is almost entirely down to the mood the AI's in. I tried that level multiple times and, despite using the same strategy (sitting still and letting the enemies kill each other), the AI responded differently: sometimes mobbing me from three directions at once, sometimes throwing frequent weak attacks that just forced tedious micro-management to keep clueless minions on defence, and sometimes ignoring me almost completely until some of the enemy bases were dead. Luck-based gameplay and terrible controls in an RTS - such fun.

I like the concept but the controls are horrible and it's very difficult to actually determine if you are actually winning a fight or not until it's over.

You have no clear indication of what the circles do on the immunisation level, and your controls completely suck with units simply not doing what they are told.
This game doesn't deserve any badges let alone a badge of the day.

My base goes the EXACT OPPOSITE direction I point, it stands in death fields when I tell it to get away for a solid minute. The enemy is the control scheme. Why would you make a game controlled this horrible way? Who hurt you?
