It seems that this episode is about conformity. The pink squares are hostile towards you, preventing you from getting the crystals. You want those crystals so badly that you're willing to give up what makes you unique (flying) so that the pink squares will accept you. In the end, you have all the crystals, but you have given up all of your abilities.
It's amazing when a game can convey deep messages without even having dialogue. 5/5

Episode 1 was nice, this, was even better. One of the most original games I've come across recently. Onto EP3
