Its an interesting idea, but its kind of a lecture nobody needs. People intuitively understand the concept of games and don't usually need them broken down like this.

The claim that the same rules apply to both players is false, as is examplified by plenty of games. If players hold completely different roles (say, a soccer penalty kicker and a goal keeper), different rules for what you can do and what is required to win apply!
