"No game can be played without the interaction of the player." Progress Quest would like a word with you. Not idle games in general, but that game specifically.

What did we learn today, Bob?
- Rules of the game define the possible actions of the players. Rules are unambiguous, intelligible, and apply for all players.
- No game can be played without the interaction of the player.
- The outcome of a game has to be uncertain, otherwise it loses its appeal.
- Computer games simulate or change properties and processes of the real world.
- Rules and representation of a game not independent but interact with each other.

Hi everyone, sorry about this game being broken, but it should be fixed now. Please send me a private message if you're still having problems getting it to start. Cheers!

As for the game being 'uncertain' it would be more useful to learn this lesson both by continuously losing and by continuously winning [since most people assume winning is the point]. It would also give the player a better feel.

I was like 8 years old when we got the Odyssey 4000. It had eight different "games" on it that were controlled using a slider on the front. You could switch games in the middle of a game and it would still keep the old score. I would switch from tennis to basketball just to mess with him.

"No game can be played without the interaction of the player." some game designers should learn this, if you have a non-interactive part where RNG comes in, I have 90% chance of winning and I lose 5 times in a row, that's when I stop playing. That's for creating this game <3.
