It really sucks that FO had to go :(. It was loved by many and played many more. FO was the best mmo i've played and i don't think i'll play them much more. Sad to see it go and all the players who had them same passion as me towards FO. love ya guys <3

For all the people saying + so creator will see we love this game! I'm sure he knows, the people he works with even love the game and Gamer knows how much we love the game, they just simply cannot continue funding future game development with the funds they were receiving, as well, the game is now 4 years old on Kongregate, so that means they have stopped listing it somewhere important on the site, which will lead to less people playing which leads to less money

I know what you mean minnaco. An entire community evaporated due to the game costing more than it was taking in. If anyone is looking for a good MMO, I recommend Drakensang. Its like Diablo, but with players and a huge world to explore. :)

It's gone... It really is gone. No other game was as simple or fun. The memories made, the friends made, the people I met, all gone. Depressing as hell man. No other game will be as simple as this. Goodbye to the community and to Fantasy Online.

In response to superawesomechris, Fantasy Online was taken down because of a lack of funding. I don't know why there wasn't enough funding though...

When i saw it was gonna be down 1.jan 2014 i though its time to enjoy the last minutes of FO so i did play 3 days straight only FO! Then yesterday is down. Now Im bored i dont have any other online games to play than Path Of Exile! YOU MUST GET THIS GAME UP AGAIN!!

Fantasy Online born in 2010 and died early December, 2013 with an impressive 10 million plays and an average rating of 4.21. this game would have surely became a legend if only it could have continued on.
