I'm confused, do the "threats" get stronger with time once they are activated by you planting near them or what? Maybe I need to redo level 1. I don't understand this at all. I plant a collector near a threat that is already active and before my plant is even half leveled the threat is freaking max likelihood. What does the Severity/Likelihood stuff even mean? I get the likelihood is the chances of spawning. Is severity how many spawn? Replaying from level 1 to better understand.

I don't know if anyone has already suggested this, but it would be nice if my plant could start spewing spores after a it reached a certain level of growth. It was a little frustrated to not have an offensive move.

Don't rush and send a lot of sucking thingings all over the map. send ONE to the pink stuff next to an enemy that's already active! and build a defender next to you that blocks everything..
ohh and UPGRADE////REPAIR!!!!!

The best strategy is to place collectors right behind the plants that are already active in the begining if they have a resource behind them because it will be ignored entirely by the enemy. This works on EVERY level....exept lvl 1 cuz there is no automaticly active threat but if your having trouble on lvl 1.....yeah...works a little less well on lvl 5 also but it gets you about 90% or more of the way there if you fully upgrade the catcher fast enough and by then you should be able to trade it in and get a breezer to the left of your plant upgrade it a bit put a defender there and its over.

The levels here on Kong are relatively easy. Just apply some risk management and strategic placement of resource gatherers and defenders and you should be able to finish without any home plant damage. The final rating I think is too generous: any damage received to the plant should be an immediate full level reduction in final score rating. I shall now go play some more levels on the main site, and maybe some custom player designed levels?

i realized the things dont attack your collectors if the collectors are far away enough.... so i just ended up with picking one spot near an already likely enemy and upgraded that collector to max and put a block at the home plant and upgraded that as high as I could... in level 4 i put it to max in level 5 i put it to the level right before max... not really hard as people say

This game changes quite a lot, the boring fact. Makes me kinda think of the oil drilling game, but the only thing thats the same is the drilling, for the rest everything is different

AMAZING game you need to think strategically every game, i wish there were more levels or a level maker, that would make this game unbelivably fun, it makes you go for high risk for greater gain, makes you go for low gain but low risk, the risk screen isnt very helpfull though i looked at the amount of glowing things to see how dangerous it is

For those having trouble with level five, the stream on the left of your plant doesn't couse any threats. Put a breezer there and upgrade it a few times. The only thing that's left for you to do is defending.

too easy finished it on first try needs more levels and unused resources threats come to life automatically even when nothing was near them

I really liked the game, but I'd like to see defenders to be able to move, that could really bug me sometimes. Anyways, 5/5.

Good game, but 5 levels is incredibly meager. That there's more that are elsewhere doesn't count. That's like going to the gas station for 10 gallons of gas but only being allowed to buy 3 and told to go across town to get the other 7. I don't care how awesome the gas is, still gonna cheese me off for having to go elsewhere for the rest. 2/5

I made it to level 15 but after that it's just absurd. you start with a threat level of 122 and there's only 1 free resource.

walls/barricades made up of overlapping bleeps with a few beats behind them is practically indestructible and really cheap to set up and maintain

Actually I had no problem beating the game. In general I found that upgrading defenses is usually better than repairing. After level 2. Don't awake sleeping threats and place multiple drillers in the same well to finish it faster, with a blocker over the threat near it. For the last stage I also needed a breezer, placed on the nearest breeze, with a bleep to defend it.

It's a good game but it's really short and rather easy (in my opinion) too bad there are only 5 levels in kongregate so 4\5.. My strategy is: use the cheapest defenders and upgrade instead of repair (it's just 10 more gold) also try to keep collectors as far away as possible from the enemy so that they may not trigger them, hope that helps.

the game is simple. if you are having issues, try checking out the threat map. 9 times out of 10 u will find u are just playing needlessly risky.

Very easy game, you can focus on collect very fast and win only using 2 basic defenders, need some setup to make the game longer and relaxed, and more levels!! nice game 4/5 cos need more develope.

Cheaper to sell and replace (10 coins) than to repair (20 coins)?
All you need to do is use blockers, and replace them when they are getting low, straight after a wave.

gave up on lvl 5, simply too frustrating the way the plants have unlimited amunition and your blockers have to be repaired-plus the way 2 of the plants started attacking right at the beginning!

Overall the game is pretty fun. Couple of suggestions though. You need to be able to restart a level without having to quit. Maybe just a restart level button? Risk level doesn't seem to be indicative of anything. I had low risk and was getting pounded by everything. Maybe risk isn't the right word. Why will some plants attack me from across the map, but others won't? I agree that you should be able to attack plants to lower risk and/or particles coming your way.

I like the game but really annoys me is that I can't use the arrow keys to move around with. Makes the controls a little clunky when I can only use the mouse to move around the edges of the screen. Other than that a good concept!

Dandgt was so close to winning, than i forgot the plant grows and it outgrew my blocker, i forgot about i and was working on looking at the spores, dumb spores....

I really like this game. need a few more levels (I know it says there's more on another website) and a few offensive bots/plants etc. Great game and concept 4/5
