In games like this, lag kills! Using a laptop touchpad for a mouse, any sudden/jerky movement causes INSANE lag... Half life gone by the time it catches up... Can't go higher than 3/5... :/

The music and the artwork is nice and I really like the Confucius quotes at the beginning of every level. But the game isn't exactly challenging or exciting or variegated. For example I only encountered the invincibility bonus once the whole game. What is the point in that? I think a lot more could be brought out from the concept and I hope that will happen. But till then, I give it a 3/5.

In my opinion i don't like this game its way to easy and not exciting just a plain game. But the game is fine because at least the person tried. 3/5

Hate to say it, but I sort of agree with Ormeon. Still, because of the art style, I'd have to rate it a bit higher. But even with a nice look, the gameplay still lacks originality. I say 3.5 / 5.

Interesting art style but that's all this game has going for it. It's a basic avoider type game with a painfully slow pace.

boring, stupid and repetitive. i like the quotes at the beginning of the levels, or i would have given only 1 star, instead of two.

i think removing the set speed, movement grid, and unlimitied snake length takes away all of the challenge and classic feel from this game. you dont have a "stylish arcade game with fresh mechanics" here, all you have is an un-original new age game with an old school name trying to get its shot at internet fame. (like the rhyme? i thought it was a nice touch)

I miss some sort of scorekeeping. It should be easy to implement. It will also make it more
interesting to play the same level again. Now you finish it at flawless and dont look back.
Shame, because I like the game...

Great graphics, great idea, its just the controls that let the whole thing down for me. As someone has probably said give the snake a maximum speed, so that it follows the mouse, but not that the snake is the mouse. Just a personal note I prefer the snake on the opening sequence than the snake in the game. 4/5.

Somehow you managed to make a game that is somehow both Zen, and action-filled. What the. :O
<3 *fives* Was a wonderful little game. Camled me down a lot even though I kept dying trying to Flawlessly beat the second half of the stages. :) The graphics style is awesome and reminds me a lot of the DS game TWEWY.

Great small game. Good music, excellent visual presentation, simple and elegantly executed. Bravo!
You need an instant restart level button, for people who obsessively want to get flawlesses.

Fun enough kind of 15 minute game.
The quotes don't actually relate back to the gameplay/plot in any way shape or form and seem really silly in a "Oh and hey, here's some quotes I like" kind of way that has nothing to do with anything.

The game loses all functionality on hardcore mode. The only reason its managable on Normal is because you can loop back on yourself. Taking that function away and increasing enemies is beyond hardcore. Also the fact that the head can move in any direction the mouse takes, but the tail is forced follow in a limited circle is a bit counter productive in my eyes. all in all. a great take on a classic. I look forward to a possible sequel, with perhaps a bit more streamline control over the snake. 4/5

I was playing in regular mode to the end, and when I was at the boss, the orbs stopped coming. Under frustration, I just rammed the boss, then I wasn't able to move.
