Fun, but a bit too easy. Also, it becomes very hard to control when you are near the edge of the screen, which is a bit too bad, since that's a natural place to dodge to. If you can't track the mouse once it leaves the flash app, maybe making a "frame" border around it that you can't travel onto but you can still edge into when controlling your snake will stop players from stalling when they hit the edge and suddenly teleporting once they return to the screen?

Well, to me, the game is gorgeous. It's especially due to the Chinese style of the game (if I guessed right) and the marvelous artwork. It was a real pleasure and I didn't stop before I passed the game. It's really relaxing, just what you need after a long day. 5/5

Some people have been saying that the snake doesn't increase in size, and it doesn't. I really like this game and found it to be a good example of updating a retro game and giving it more depth and playability, even if some of the controls make it less challenging.

At level 12 my snake got stuck like "nologin".. we can exit level with Esc but the bug stay for every level after that.

What am I supposed to do on the last level? The yellow dots will stop showing up and the boss keeps shooting the arrows. Is it another bug?

On level 14 my snake cannot be moved (mouse cursor isn't captured by the game), it is not moving so the level cannot be started. Too bad, I was so close the finish it :S

really easy, i've been getting flawless everytime so far. Wish tehre was some description on what the different little gem things do. There are bubbles that turn one of your life points blue/grey, one blows things up, a red one that does something, not sure what and that's only until lvl 6. Not sure if there are more later.

not as fun as the original snake. The problem for me is that the snake can stand still. Force the snake to constantly move and put it on a 2d grid and this would be a lot more fun.

I don't know what I just played, but if it was snake than this: the snake doesn't get larger, dificulty doesn't change much, snake is very easy to control. Very repetetive. 1/5 BORING!

Fun game for sure. I loved the artwork and the use of quotes was a very nice touch. The only thing that irked me a bit was even though I had around one bar of life left, the snake was still just as long. It made for a few frustrating points, such as the final level, where it felt like my only chance of winning was luck. But, all in all, it was an excellent game, a rare gem that is both short, and a very fun play. 5/5

your game won my 5/5 just with the first lvl, the other lvls maked me feel like kong needs higher rate standars xD 10k / 5, finally a snake game that stands up against the rpg, tower defence, zombie killers, etc.

"my snake seems to spontaneously explode" <- thats the added feature, in hadcore mode you damage you self if you head contact your tail (50% hp loss)

Nice aesthetic. I have a criticism: Some of the later levels require rapid mouse movement, and of course if the cursor goes over the edge of the game border, you lose control. This is an unfortunate limitation of the format.
I also haven't figured out hardcore mode, as my snake seems to spontaneously explode no matter what I do.

Very original game ! I love simple and effective gameplay.
First levels are a little bit too easy, can't wait for more levels :)

This is a good game but if there was someone aiming for every stage flawless that could take quite a while but apart from that it is very good very simple and challenging 5/5.

The game said to me after completing a level, "Flawless". I can say the same for this game. I love the artwork and the simplicity of this game is just so fun!

oh thats a nice game, a very well made difficulty curving and even added features in hardcore mode and not just only "spam more enemies" ^^
Didn't encounter any bugs but that i once didn't die touching the endboss (leaving me at 1 hp) and then couln't move anymore + getting hit by enemies did not kill me. Forced me to restart but nothing got lost so it's still 5/5

well... artwork nice... control nice... everything is good but only problem is idea of game... maybe it's just me but nobody plays games like those... it maybe has a challenge but it isn't fun... well that's my opinion
