I'd have to say the game's waaay too easy. Like, my cat could probably beat the first level. And he's been dead for a couple months now, too.

tribal style drawing is the best thing about the game,and the quotes are great too,but if u dont look and think closely the quotes go along the line of the level,over all 4/5

In snake games the body follows the exact same path as the head, allowing for careful evasion of enemies. In this game, the body always takes a slightly different path, making it very difficult to avoid multiple enemies.

there's a similar Snake follows the mouse avoider somewhere on the site, name slips me at the moment. Mechanics are the same only atmosphere differs (in the other game it's impossible to dodge everything and it's all chaotic in this you move slowly and carefully to dodge enemies which run a patter.) though I think this is a better made game with less rands, my one issue is that this music makes me want to fall asleep.

Alright important strategy tip for the stage right before the "boss" you can trigger the little proximity mines without getting hurt if you're fast enough

I don't understand why hardcore mode is locked to start with. I didn't enjoy the game until about level 10, but it was still too easy. Once I started hardcore, I actually liked the game. I don't think most people who are like me will have that much patience with this game when there are thousands of other games to play on this site. Also, i don't get why some elements, like the "bomb" and the armor were only around in one level. One more thing: I didn't interact with the boss at all. It was pretty much the exact same game. I would have liked to have some sort of gameplay mix-up for the boss rather than just doing the same thing I'd done 15 times only easier.

Why are you trying to collect objects to make light when your a shadow? Doesn't that mean you're trying to kill yourself?

@Endovior I think that the achievement "Flawless" Means if your are hit even once, it can't be a perfect game. So what If you were wearing armor? If your in a bubble and you get 100 times but still complete your level, was it a perfect run?

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess reference is clear in the coloring of foes, the final boss, and the Big Wasps (those strange mask things) Just thought I should bring that up. And interesting take on and uninteresting concept. Let's make it clear: this is a great game, not a snake clone, just a game with the same mechanics as snake, with different obstacles.

Excellent game idea: the increasing difficulty comes from the growing snake and not from the level design itself, so the difficult curve is guaranteed for everyone. More challenging if played for perfection (if you get touched, suicide and try again)

What is the point of the last level? What to do? The yellow dots run out then only healing dots are coming. How should I kill the boss? With healing the snake??

One small complaint... taking a hit while armored should not prevent you from scoring 'Flawless' on a level. Otherwise, armor is useless to the perfectionist, which seems counter-intuitive.

in hardcore mode the snake is suicidal and emo because when the snakes head touches his body he cuts and hurts him self so dont move backwards in hardcore mode

The artstyle is nice, and probably the only redeeming quality in this game for me. From beginning to end I didn't die a single time; the gameplay wasn't all too creative to begin with either so this was quite the poor performance. 2/5 for me.

Maybe explain how to play hardcore mode. I don't understand why there are cuts being made right accross my character.

Actually this game doesnt really have fresh mechanics, about 3 or 4 years ago I saw a game with the same game mechanics, but no portal in the middle, the pickups let you gain new skills intead... the gameplay itself is very similar to that one, but honestly a bit worse. I wish I could remember what it was called...

I don't like the fact that the snake can accelerate with the mouse. It doesn't feel like I am controlling the snake at all.
I agree with Savior42, i think the snake should like follow the trace of the mouse, cause it doesn't feels like a snake moving

how is hardcore mode supposed to work? it seems imposibble because everytime i move away from the portal in the middle, invisible slashes kill me. Am i missing something?

I wish the music was separate from the sound effects. I may want to listen to my own music without having to turn off the sound effects. *sigh* Hit the + button if you agree.
