I like this game, but the instructions are terrible. Normally I'm good at this kind of thing, but I don't understand this at all. I'm stuck on the third level. I don't even know why I'm losing... >.<

More improvements to 28/robomecha (le0nett0 and ReynFox) - 2 less parts, faster on (most) inputs: ?lvl=28&code=g12:3f3;p12:5f3;c12:4f3;q11:5f1;b11:4f2;r13:4f0;q13:5f5;g14:5f3;r14:6f0;g10:5f3;b10:6f2;c11:6f2;c13:6f0;c12:6f3;p12:7f3;r13:7f0;b11:7f2;q12:8f6;c12:9f3;c12:10f3;c12:11f3;

Yami: The problem with your proposed solution is that you remove all red dots, which is not the same as "the output with the blue in front". eg: RBR should be BRR, not just B.

First the bad: Mute button doesn't work. Also the instructions are really lacking, it would be lovely to have a tutorial, or examples. I understand part of the point is that you're supposed to work things out for yourself, but lots of players don't have the patience for that.
Otherwise it's such a lovely game, I wish I had more time to play it. 5/5

Lovely finite state automaton simulation. Quiet enjoyable; it could have been made more clear, though that conveyors can overlap!

The hardest one I could accomplish was the robospy. I just can't figure out certain manipulation techniques that are vital to progressing further. A gentler learning curve, or in-game examples illustrating more techniques, would simplify this game a deal and help one avoid bashing their head for some time.
I doubt I could have gotten this far if I did not already have a brief understanding of what we are actually doing in this game along with some logic and binary work.
5/5. (9/10) A very well done game brillantly executed. It just needs more levels or examples in the mid-game to ease the difficulty curve.

@frostydraco: "Input" is what's coming at you on the paper tape - a series of red and blue dots that you have to process properly per the instructions. Click on the triangle icon to see what is going to come. The goal is to use the other tools to build a process that decides whether that string of dots fits the criterion specified. For example, if you're looking for all-blue strings, use a red-blue selector, which will read the first dot on the paper. Leave the red outlet empty to dump any reds, while use conveyors to recycle the part back above the selector to read the next dot. Use a conveyor to send it to the hole at the bottom from the gray middle arrow when you've reached the end of the tape. Hope that helps you get started.

@meta: wheres the problem? set a green dot, after that: blue/redswitch. blue -> plot blue, red -> back to the switch, else -> through green/yellow switch: green -> to the end, else -> nothing

Very fun, interesting, and hard!
All the good qualities about a game!
A DEFINITE 5/5!!!
For all of you who can't figure out some of the easy levels, I have 1 hint:
Loops ;)

Very impressive, and extremely challenging puzzler. As of yet I have no idea how to determine what the last bit in the string is... but I'll keep trying.

It needs a more thorough explanation. It's way too confusing. Concept seems cool, but I'm not going to spend three hours trying to do level three.

I'm surprised this music doesn't violate any copyright or distribution laws. You should at least mention that Shostakovich wrote it.

My solution to the rocket planes have a wonderful bubble sort with an incredible inefficiency. Simulated time 14:33 (love the time acceleration), a few of the others are around 1 or 0:30 or less...

Hah! Got Metatron in 119 parts, 19:29. Did it in two parts: first adding the strings bitwise, using yellow for carry bits, then worked through the sum string massaging out the carries until no yellows remained.

Loving this. But it is hard, and I am a fully qualified programmer/SW designer.
Love to wrap my brain around these kinds of problems.

5/5 faved! this is the brain teaser that I was looking for since I first came to kong! it seems as if any level has a solution that works of any given input. (given some prerequisites like even numbers for 'police').
Thank you.

An extremely poor tutorial leaves you knowing what to do.. but not what strings you're supposed to be passing? Does it say it anywhere on the screen at all? Anywhere?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
look at the left corner it said what you need to do to clear the lvl for the level too it say that it have to start whit a blue to be accepted and reject everything else put a branch and use only the blue

This reminds me of another game puzzle game that involves logic: The Codex of Alchemical Engineering. Nice game, logic puzzles are the most enjoyable kind to me.

I got Metatron in only 127 parts.
Not posting my solution, I think that the last three should be un-walkthroughed.
but i guess every level's solution is on the web now.....

Working solution for Ophanim, but shouldn't be working (It doesn't accept 8>7 for example)
Had a longer one which was valid, but why use more time and symbols than necessary? Random strings wanted (or atleast a test like 16>15 or 32>31)
