Wow this game made no sense to me since I have never ever done anything with programming. This was a good game though but too hard for me. I like to play games not study them and spend hours drawing up blueprints.

I haven't felt this way about a puzzle game since The Codex of Alchemical Engineering. This game is just as much fun, allows for the same variety and creativity in solutions, and yet works on a completely different play mechanic that I've never seen before. I've still got 3 levels left to unlock (and 6 more that I haven't beaten yet), and it already feels like my brain is being stretched to the limit... but that just makes it all the more satisfying when I finally discover the trick I need to complete a solution. There aren't many games that can keep you glued to your computer for minutes on end without even doing anything or watching anything happen... just staring at the level and thinking. Super solid 5/5.

Awesome game! Wish it had more sounds/better sounds and was "flashier," but one of the BEST FLASH PUZZLERS EVER!! :) 4.5/5.

Here is my solution for Rocket Planes. It should be pretty easy to understand:
?lvl=27&code=g11:6f2;p12:6f3;c12:4f3;c12:5f3;y14:3f3;p14:4f4;g14:5f1;c14:6f2;y15:4f0;g15:5f1;p15:6f6;c13:6f2;q13:4f0;r13:3f3;b13:5f1;y15:7f1;c16:7f3;y16:6f3;c12:7f3;c12:8f3;q12:10f3;b13:10f0;r11:10f2;c16:8f0;c15:8f0;c14:8f0;c13:8f0;c12:9f3;

I don't really see the mission in the android level.
When I get a single red which should be 0 I get a wrong when i drop it and i really don't understand why!!! you can just ingore the reds right they are 0

I like the idea but the puzzles are confusing. I don't program computers for a living and have a computer science degree so O may be missing something 'odvious.'

The ability to pause, instead of just stopping, would be wonderfull in debugging some machines. Apart from that, and for sheer promice, 5/5!

Police! really has me fuddled. To store the length of the string AND divide by 2? I can't find a way to do it procedurally and I don't think there's enough room to do it declaratively for a 10-bit string. I figure anyone who doesn't understand the previous sentence wouldn't be able to help me anyway. :P

A nice intro to the "stack", and quite different from other puzzle games. You should definitely implement the Kong API, I wouldn't be surprised if this got badges.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Don't you hate it when the game is so laggy it takes you 10 minutes just to check if you can actually select those f*cking androids?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Finished them all. You have to refresh to unlock more bonus levels. Noticed some of the later ones have cheap solutions, but it's not as fun when you do it that way.

For anyone having issues with re-ordering the colors, here is my (ugly) solution for Rocket Planes!
?lvl=27&code=c12:5f2;b12:6f1;c13:5f3;p13:6f3;c14:6f2;p15:6f6;r15:7f0;q16:6f2;g12:4f2;c13:4f3;c15:8f3;r9:5f3;c9:6f2;q10:4f1;p10:5f1;c10:6f1;c11:4f2;b11:5f3;c11:6f0;r16:7f3;y16:8f0;p15:10f7;b16:10f1;c16:9f0;c15:9f3;r16:5f1;c14:7f1;c15:3f0;r15:4f0;b15:5f1;c16:4f1;c13:3f3;q14:4f0;c16:3f0;y14:3f0;g14:5f0;c13:7f3;q13:8f3;y14:8f2;q15:11f3;b10:7f1;c14:11f0;c13:11f0;p12:9f0;c12:8f0;c11:8f0;c10:8f1;c13:9f0;c13:10f1;r12:10f2;r14:10f0;q11:9f4;c11:10f3;c11:11f2;

@MrCraz yep you missed the fact that red is 0 and blue is 1... so red x5, blue x2, red, should be 110 and that would be 6<15
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i agree with sem277, unless it's something wanted (probably it is) the space is often not enough in the last levels. and to mirror the color detectors.. try space bar xD
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
AHAHAHAHAHAA! "As you may know, BINARY is a language devised by machines to CONFUSE us." That is probably the funniest joke I've ever seen in a Flash game and DAMN am I a huge nerd! :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
4th level is much to hard for me..."accept if there are 3 blues"-BUT the 4th one is something like RRBBRB-so i have to arrage for THAT one to reach the exit to win!?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You're doing the math in reverse, MrCraz. 1 0 0 0 0 = 16. 0 0 0 0 1 = 1. It feels weird with the game reading from left to right, highest to lowest.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The programming challenges are great, but the geometry is sometimes frustrating. I keep finding myself in a situation where I wish I could bridge one conveyor over the other - or mirror the color detectors.

Either I'm not awake yet, or the robotanks level is bugged. I've got it set so that the first 4 bits get passed along, so long as something is there, and then one last one checking to see if there is a 1 anywhere else in there (5th bit is 16, so anything from there on out will make it >15). Loops 0's until it either hits a 1 and then goes in the hole, and kicks out blanks. Had one that was red x5, blue x2, red, which by the methods laid forward in here would be 159. It tells me I should have rejected it. Am I mathing wrong here, or is it something with the game?

One of those more interesting games on Kongregate lately - it's creative, it's challanging, and some of those last levels are just plain hard. And I like it!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great edutainment game! Teaches about computer programming concepts like loops graphically, so you don't realize you're learning. I've programmed professionally for years and enjoyed the game too.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Woah, that's difficult... Whatever I do, I can't see how to order the colors into blocks without losing information...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Pretty fun. Perhaps use WASD for tutorial navigation as that's what's used in game to orient the conveyors. No point in using arrow keys, WASD, and the mouse.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow this game really cracks my brain!
this game seems to be so new there arent even any walkthroughs. i'm stuck and i'd love to see a solution to some levels :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The instructions confused me a bit. Fun game with good strategy overall. On the bottom left, ACCEPT means destroy (run off track) anything that doesn't fit the criteria. OUTPUT means modify everything as stated. You can't see the tapes until you send them, you should try to make it so any random combination will work at first. At the failure results, "output robot" is what you got and "valid output" is what it should have been.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game. Fun, unpretentious, and satisfying when you complete a puzzle. 5/5. What are the better versions of this already on Kongregate?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I definitely would like to compare my effectiveness to others on this one - could you implement the Kongregate API?
I like this game, it teaches basic CS skills in a novel way. I'm sure it'd have more mass appeal with sound and spiffy graphics, but I don't care. ;)

Very challenging, yet creative. one of the few recent games to impress me. I also like some of the humor, as in robo toast's description :D 5/5
