Just woke up and started searching through Kongregate when I saw this and tried it out. My first hough was"MY EYES!!!!!!" I have been blinded due to to many colors at fast speeds and the white. *.* blinded

To get best ships - unlock Scraping Rod first. Then turn off autofire in options, start game in easy mode, take fast ship. After completing first level - buy Scraping Rod.
Now you can use any last boss to get 100x multiplier. Just shot down its extras and stop shooting. Then use following algorithm:
1. Shoot him once.
2. Move close to any bullet during next few seconds getting 1-3 multipliers.
3. Repeat, until you get 100x.
4. Kill the boss.
If any bullet hits you - you lose about half of your earned multipliers, so be careful.

Okay, this game is just very great!! The songs just make you want to get on the top of your game. I'm a very hardcore gamer and this coming from me is just............you should feel very proud of yourself!! So many modes as well. I played the first game and I got every achievement. Since there is no impossible achievement here, you can actually enjoy the game more. 5/5 baby! You deserve it!

If you think Frantic mode is hard, play any touhou game on Lunatic.
I didn't even survive two stages.
Whereas i survived several on Frantic mode.

I really like this game. When you pause,do something, then get back on,it gives you a few seconds to prepare your self. I rate 5!!!

Are you Serious?! I can't believe I acctually got Survival on the first try! This game is not as hard than I thought it was going to be, however I did play other bullet hell games so I kind of had an advantage. But still...Wow. (Dislikes ahoy)

Please don't make it so we have tons of different colored bullets and powerups on the screen. This is poorly color coded - I tried to legitimately pick up a bullet like it was a powerup. I don't know, make the bullets be a range of red to yellow, and the powerups blue to green.

Coming into this game, I truthfully did not expect much. I had been a fan of these games, but the usually becoming sorry and repetitive. Even with my horrible thoughts of what would happen coming into this game, I was simply impressed. Choose a control scheme, and off you go. Gameplay was good, pretty seamless with no lag for me. Easy to get money and such. The boss was interesting, and fun. I had a smile on my face as I played. After the boss, the upgrades screen came on, and even with a row unavailable, I was still pretty happy with the variety.
However, a few downsides: The action, as in a lot of these games, got a little overwhelming for me in the second level. With the helpers, my wave shot that I got, and all the other things flying around, quick reflexes are a must. Also, I was somewhat confused on some of the things on the HUD- The blue bar beside the health, and the adrenaline bar. Gameplay eventually fixed that.
4.7 out of 5 as a final result.

Frantic is actually really easy. >.< I didn't know a thing at first, but now I'm good. I never finished the first episode though, but I could tell that it wasn't that hard.

Ok, this is one of my few bullet hell games that I keep coming back to. The main things I wish I could change, now that I know about the background color option and that transparent shots is about making YOUR shots less visible, is the adrenaline system.
Specifically, two things: One, I don't actually like the slow time effect at all and wish I could just use a shield twice if I had two boxes. Two, and I thought this was the case before, but I'd like to be able to activate a shield when I have four boxes and save the super attack. Also, if I activate the super attack when I have four boxes I should still have one box when it's done, I'd like it not to drain the whole thing.

Oh, thanks game. I would have had no idea that my shields were low had you not put SHIELDS LOW on top of the screen. Sure, my ship blew up, which I guess is a decent hint, but no, text is the way to go here.

The ultimate guide to the Kamikaze badge:
1- Get the last ship unlocked (go to easy difficulty and get a 100x multiplier)
2- Go to the game options and turn on the first three extras (it will help you dodge)
3- In the survival bonus stage, forget the money. Try to get as many close kills as possible, so your multiplier is around 35x-40x
4- Fully upgrade the laser wingmen or the electric wingmen, they are both fine. Buy only Kamikaze and Commander cards (do not buy the courtesy ship, the hitbox does not get smaller). Spend the rest of the money in the wave weapon.
5- Now focus on dodging and good luck :)
