Nowhere NEAR as good as the first. You can't even tell what's a bullet and what's not. The "powerups" do next to nothing and aren't noticable. I didn't even play through the first level all the way, i got to the miniboss and quit because it was just so bad.

Can someone explain solar panels achievement? There's no way it is 30 continuous seconds, but if it's not cumulative, then why hasn't unlocked yet?

The ultimate guide to the Kamikaze badge:
1- Get the last ship unlocked (go to easy difficulty and get a 100x multiplier)
2- Go to the game options and turn on the first three extras (it will help you dodge)
3- In the survival bonus stage, forget the money. Try to get as many close kills as possible, so your multiplier is around 35x-40x
4- Fully upgrade the laser wingmen or the electric wingmen, they are both fine. Buy only Kamikaze and Commander cards (do not buy the courtesy ship, the hitbox does not get smaller). Spend the rest of the money in the wave weapon.
5- Now focus on dodging and good luck :)

The tactic I used for getting the Kamikaze badge. You need to make sure the bottom ship is unlocked. I made sure to get my multiplier as high as possible in the bonus round by killing enemies with 'close range kills.' If you can get around 40x it will make it a LOT easier.
You need enough money to be able to level up your laser wingman to its maximum level and then purchase both kamikaze and commander, then keeping purchasing the gun of your choice (I chose classic) and you will most likely have enough money left to purchase a courtesy ship.
Now you are ready to start the survival mode. Try and collect as many purple power-ups as possible at the start and then once it starts getting a bit more hectic, concentrate on nothing but dodging bullets, as your wingman will do all the killing for you.

KAMIKAZE!!!
1. Pick the last ship.
2. In the first wave gather at least 52900 (restart if not!)
3. Max out: Classic spread, Laser Wingmen.
4. Buy: Kamikaze, Commander, Courtesy Ship.
5. In the next wave try and gather as many purple ups as possible.
6. When weapons are max: stay at the bottom in the middle so that the spread covers most of top screen.
7. Enjoy!
