This game is essentially the 'Very Very Easy' mode of Touhou... it has vibrant graphics, and a nice challenge with a rather unusual upgrade system. If you really want a challenge after this, try digging out a copy of Touhou (preferably the legal way) and give that a go (preferably on lunatic mode)... Touhou 6 onwards should satisfy your lust :D

Not having a save is annoying but good at the same time. Without the save faile it stop people from manipulating a .Sol file so more people have to get the impossible badge legit (like me =]). Overall it's a fun game and brings back the arcade feeling. 5/5 rating.

ive been looking for a good calssic arcade game liek this. its really fun and i give it a 5/5. even though theres no save feature, which would be nice.

So fun! I never realized how much I hated backgrounds until I played this minimalist beauty. The style, the "card" upgrades, and the various kaleidoscope patterned boss-expulsions made this a 4/5 for me. Well done, esp considering the type of game.

Loving the explosions and the sheer franticness of it, but I did spend the first few levels avoiding the money pick ups too...doh!

Excellent game. Simple execution, the right amount of challenge and repetition. I look forward to going after the badges. 5/5

The last boss was actually one of the easiest, imo, and a save function would be pretty nice. The gameplay is fast-paced and really fun, though, I had such a good time I gave it 5/5.

Alright, this game gets old rather quick. I had interest at the start, but a little while down, the game got incredibly dull! 2 out of 5

"this game is a rip off of pixelvader but slightly worse. 3/5" Actually, if you check the publish dates, Pixelvader came in 2009, while Frantic came in 2008.

A bit to easy. Sure, there's the impossible badge, but just getting through the game was not very challenging. Brilliant gameplay though, 5/5 :)

This game was very hard after level 5 or so. It demanded you to get the powerup cards or you'll die quicker than you could blink. Very well made, boss designs are interesting and the gameplay is superb.
