For those having difficulty, let me make a recommendation to help you. Google "Words that start with _____" or "Words that end with ____" in another window. That should help you get off to a good start.

If your having trouble, try to get "ends with ant".
Add a single letter to it and its a word (C,P,W,R, etc), in addition to many other multiple letter combos (Sl, Ch, Gr, Br).

This game is unbelievably good at testing one's English vocabulary, especially as a non native speaker. The thrilling emotion of staring at the screen frozen in sheer panic trying to come up with a word as the clock ticks down...

For those working on the hard badge, there are a couple 'qua' prefix words missing from Mmmchips' list in the Best Comments section (quadratrix and quadratrixes). You'll still need 1 more word, probably based on suffix -- WalesThug1 has a nice list. A complete list for qua: quadplex, quadplexes, quadratrix, quadratrixes, quadrioxalate, quadruplex, quadruplexed, quadruplexes, quadruplexing.

I am not a native English speaker, but I managed to get 684 meters without using the qua- or any other tricks. I don't see how the people below me fail so miserably.

English is not my native language and although I can speak it pretty good I only reached 96 meters even with the QUA trick mentioned above. How do people even get close to 400m?

Just google wordfind and get the badge with the help of the site.
I could never do it by myself since I'm not a native english speaker.

It rejects words that I know are words, that I can find in the dictionary, and accept words that I am not sure are words at all.

Yea used a few choice words and they all worked. Won't repeat any here, but lets say they are of the 4 letter variety. Good game really gets you thinking. 5/5

DIS- and -ING are the best things in here! 366 meters on first try (and I´m not from England, USA or any english-speaking country)

A bunch of the words I have tried do not work, yet I KNOW my spelling of them was correct. My mother made sure I had an extensive vocabulary, something that I take pride in...and it is an insult to think that I am not spelling things properly.

Come on, 400 meters is really nothing. For non-native speakers, it only becomes serious pain going for rank 9 (words with W and K in them are a bit hard and words with Q and X are something external help is needed for.

(Focus on the suffixes, get 2 words, and then just play for different prefixes fast to get QUA and you're home)

When I hit both the beginning and end with the same word, it can break my combo by triggering off the wrong one even though I maintain a consistent run on the same one.

english is not my first language, but i got the ending "-ist" and rocketed with latin words communist, optimist, dentist, capitalist, chemist ... ;)

Just got the easy badge. From my experience, it's best to focus on smaller words. It also helps if you get a prefix or suffix that you're familiar with.
