While it's a shame that this version of Mardek will never be finished, I quite thoroughly enjoyed Taming Dreams and its replacement canon.

Honestly thought the same thing, thought that Mardek 4 was actually out. Not a day goes by that I wish so much for Pseudo to continue the series, as it was such a huge part of my childhood. Usually i would end up his site every day for some kind of update, but then he had a spiritual awakening of sorts and has no desire to continue the series. If anyone is seeing this right now you should greatly consider playing all 3 chapters in order, this is easily the most masterfully crafted series when it comes to flash rpg games, the story, fighting, music, everything about it is astounding. The only bad thing about the game is the great sadness and longing you may feel for a continuation, but playing it out is well worth it.

Welp, time to start playing this thing again I guess. April fools just made me lose a lot of time in the near and far future.

I can feel my childhood, I first played this game in 2008 when I was like 9 and WOW, the feeling of nostalgia is strong :D The memories that this game brings back is INSANE!

I really do love this game, and I remember playing this and thinking that the heroes talked quite a bit like children... It's classic, but refreshing. Thanks!

I don't know why, but i've got to press all the buttons very hard to make them work... Is it caused by some script in game to make easy ,,reactions" hard as a shit?
Could you please fix it?

From the encyclopaedia entry for fumerats: "...rigid IRON pipe that serves as their tail."
What item do they drop? LEADpipe...

I lost to The Dragon and got a game over..... So does that mean Mardek and Deugan killed themselves pretending to fight a dragon??

wait at the end of the game, why does the Annukani (or whatever they are called) speak of YALORT? I thought YALORT was a religious figure, not a interstellar figure. And even if he is an interstellar figure, how did the Annukani learn about YALORT to the point of worshiping him like the humans did? #GameLogic

Pseudelonewolf is very close to releasing his new Mardek (mobile game now and has quite a lot changes, but I still like it) - currently in the Beta Phase, but you can register for it on his new website alorafane.com

Apparently the Poshgoblin, which used his money attack many times on me, was determined to be poor and carried nothing after I beat him.

I love the new update (only played this on AG before), especially bc you dont get stuck in an infinite loop trying to close windows that are reopened with the same button. The only issue I have with this is that Rohoph's font with the glow effect is almost unreadable. Other than that, great game!

Am I the only one who reminded good old "Day of the tentacle" game during the last animation? LoL. Very nice first chapter, but a bit short.

This chapter is ludicrously short, it takes me like 30 minutes when I do the sidequest and obtain all the items, the 2nd takes me a couple hours speedrunning, and the 3rd I have yet to beat due to the fact of the Earth Guardian's Opness.

i'd love once you finish making all chapters (i just played this one, so i don't know if it ended at chapt. 3) you make all the chapters into one game.

I have been watching a lot of videos by Extra Credits. They are people in the game industry talking about game design. A lot of things they dislike you did not do. The first 5 minutes of the game grabbed your attention and were engaging. There were no exposition dumps. There was a lot of dialog, but it was interesting dialog that also told us about the speaker indirectly. It is a really great game! One of the few games I gave 5 stars to.

Probably not important at all, but the "Instructions" section of the game (not ingame, but on the Kongregate site) state that A, S, and D are used for reactions. This was for the old version; the newer version uses X only.
