(I first played this several years ago.) I want to say I "Loved it" (5 stars) except for the fact that such a short game has as much sexual reference and off-color language as it does -- made even worse by the context of children (the characters) hearing it, reading it, and even saying some of it. Beyond that, I agree with the general praiseworthiness of this game; I can't help but say I "Really liked it" (4 stars). Quite fun! $:^ ]

Although the Cog Necklace is a nice reward for doing Meraeador's side quest, the RP requirement for it is 6. Unless you grind away for hours, you can't equip/use it before you get to the mushrooms where they start to put you to sleep (goes against the advice Meraeador says when he gives you the reward).

Hihi, had the two boys beat each other up with sticks for 100xp each strike. Then use the huff and puff heal on them to go at it again. Ignored the rat until I leveled.

beat in 56 minutes its a great game just i would love to see it go longer, well im off to mardek rpg: chapter 2 10/10

And so it took me five hours to pass this game, while mastering all skills, which only took several hours worth of grinding so that Mardek and Deugan had the prerequisite six RP. And so thanks to a forest wide genocide of forest fish and fungal goblinoids, our heroes learned how to not fall asleep on command!

Hoo boy. Masterable skills... I'm going to be stuck on this game for a while. :) Also, I really hope that the elemental pairing thing is not as exactly it is said in the in-game books and just the NPC author being prejudiced or whatever is the right. Because I doubt all women would always secretly search for someone who would dominate them. Or that people of opposing Moral Elements will be incapable of standing each other and such.

Interesting concept, but much too short, even as a simple chapter. This is also a game that tries way too hard to be funny. There were some parts I chuckled, but most of the dialog just drags on and on because the creator was trying to be funny. The humor shouldn't detract from the story, it should complement it.

my browser crashed and deleted everything I did, all of the 40 hours of game play from chapter 1 to chapter 3. I can't wait to start it all over again!!

@Zornrose, instead of leveling in the sewers, head further into the game and level grind in the forest, the encounter rate is higher as there are more possible enemies, and they all give 100 xp, just like the rats.
