For all those people who think the words are small, hold down the Ctrl button and scroll with the scroll wheel on you mouse. That will make the page bigger or smaller. This works with windows, i don't know about macs.

Well, if you can't make it bigger by increasing the movie size (I suppose you have lots of pre-defined sizes), you could possibly make it bigger by embedding it inside another movie, and then stretching everything to the desired size.

In 2007 we don't need to make 8bits graphics... If you want a nostalgic ambience, fall to 16-bits, Chrono Triguer... The flash can do it!

Sh*BEEP*
Just got all the way to fighting Bertholio and his crew in the poison grotto and then died. The last time I saved was way back in the gem mines! Please add an autosave function that saves at crucial points?
Other than that, it's a great game. I don't know why people are complaining from there being too much text. It seems just right to me. 5/5

Woah... dude... why are your monasteries green and black? Seriously, it looks like all your people are satanists...
Regardless, awesome game, great story, etc, etc. 5/5! I can't believe people are rating it badly just because the text is a little small... seriously, I can read it fine. Love the funny dialogue. Can't wait for chapter 3!

whats the name of the song if it is a song? or is it like programmed to your own liking? like you made it up yourself?

Yes, yes, I'm aware the text is too small... It's because I couldn't specify the dimensions that the game is shown at.
Does anyone know who I could contact to perhaps get the game to show at manually-specified dimensions...?

For the love of all that is good, increase the text size already! You don't NEED a window so small, so there's no need to hurt our eyes like this!

When I first came to this page, I was pretty shocked to see that this game was rated so low. This is one of the Top 25 flashes--and Top 8 flash games--on Newgrounds.
Then I started playing, and realized the problem--the display size is tiny! I happen to love the clever dialog in this game, but the text is small and kind of blurry because it was resized. I played for about three minutes before my eyes started to hurt. I know that Kongregate displays Telepath RPG Chapter 2 at the right size, so I can't imagine what the problem is here. Maybe you should email Greg?

o.O
too much text ? no, its RPG omg .
u need to understand the history of the game ¬¬
maybe the screen bigger just it
awesome game 5/5

I think it's an excellent game, despite the font being a little hard to read due to size. I agree with PsuedoLoneWolf, if you play an RPG, you play it for the story. Don't complain just because the story is longer than you thought it would be. That's like complaining the chapters are spaced too far apart in a book.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind the text? XD I mean that's what rpgs are... like watching an anime and pausing it every five seconds to fiddle with the remote control.
Like everyone else though it would be nice if the screen were bigger.

I don't have any issues with the text, though. If you want some action and no plot, Kongregate is full of shooters, anyways.

If you hold X, the intro text scrolls a lot faster, so you can skip it faster that way.
I'm curious though as to why people bother playing RPGs at all if they're just going to skip the plot. I myself get involved with the plot and dialogue of RPGs, and any battle things are just obstacles that need to be tediously overcome so then I can see more plot. And RPGs which only have brief and apathetic plot as a necessary means to move along the action always disappoint me... But do other people just play for the combat or something? Without even caring WHY they're fighting?
I know the text is irritatingly small in this though, but like I said, I can't choose what size the game displays at. You can play the game at a MUCH larger size on CMG or my website though (it's linked to on the title screen of the game).

I've been an RPG'er for 25+ years and even *I* think that there's way too much tiny text. At least give us a key to skip to the end of the two dozen tiny screens of 'info' presented at the start.

I want to increase the size that the game's displayed at, but apparently I can't specify dimensions (and editing the dimensions of the actual game itself would be too hard, since much of the code depends on the current ones). All I can do about that is request that Kongregate add the ability to choose your own width and height for your games.
(And it's sort of 'depressing' how people are so against READING these days... Requires too much thought and an attention span, I suppose. This is an RPG made for people like me who prefer plot and lengthy dialogue over action, and if you don't like that... well. Not everything can please everyone!)

screen size is a little small compared to when played from crazymonkey or newgrounds. still a fun game, although the text *is* long and pretentious. I still want to know what's in that underwater temple.

Ehhhhh Way to much text, i skipped it all to play the game, but i have no idea what to do now. Very small game screen. 2/5

i like the old school graphics, but the text is very pretentious and way too long. this guy is way in love with himself.2/5

Aside from the irritatingly lengthy and sometimes pointless dialog, this is a really well made game. Definitely reminds me of old adventure games like Earthbound.
The text wouldn't even be so bad, except the screen is tiny and half the time the letters are half blurry.
For the next chapter, make the game default to using more space and either increase the character's walking speed or add dash boots or something.

I like the old snes style, but there is soooo much text. I went to get something to eat when the intro text came on, and when i got back it hadn't finished. Perhaps a skip button or a synopsis?

Provided this is actually Pseudolonewolf, grats on this game, from what I've played so far on it, it's an awesome game.
