Nice game, but too much talking. The reading needs to be cut down by at least half. I know it's an RPG, but it has enough dialogue to be a novel.

awesome reminds me so much of final fantasy (especially the "saviors", they looked like they were off FF1) but i actually liked this better great work on a great game

Timmy, that's a potentially good idea if Mardek is spruced up with SPR equips. I'd much rather have him attack with a silver sword + Quarry undead + DMG % reactions. If you've got the keyblade, it can easily replace the silver sword.

@DBI, you would probably start at a lower level, with worst gear. So transferring is the best way to go in terms of playability. :3

Pseudolonewolf this game is amazing i love but one thing i have noticed in the transition from chapter 2 to 3 is that if you start straight to chapter 3 you get an ability for mardek that removes status ailments if you transition a chap to file to chap 3 you do not receive this skill still a great game just thought i might point that out

To add to my prior comment about the Zombie Dragon, neither was the Trilobite Arena thing. More annoying than anything, with all that numbness.

To all those n00bs that are complaining about the difficulty of the game: MARDEK requires a lot of strategy, so that if you can't beat a certain difficult fight, think of a different strategy.

one thing i noticed about skills: you get them from ur weaps xD then when u master it, after changing your weap the skill given from previous weap stays xD
and also, aint that way of getting skills from Final Fantasy Tactics? xDD

I finished chapter 2 and can't figure out how to transfer my progress to chapter 3! I had a full encyclopedia and inventory and have to start over in the 3rd chapter?? That's my only problem. Other than that, amazing game. Also, when battling Moric, it's a good idea to destroy 2 out of the 3 dromas. If you kill all 3, he'll just create another 3.

sephiroth: check your map, it has little yellow dots where the treasure is, or something like that. go to that do on the map(it should be in a pool of green stuff) and press x to get the treasure.

I am an rpg fan. Beat all the bof's, all the final fantasies (until they turned 3d and gay), chrono trigger etc. The difference between those games and this one is that they underplayed status effects. This game kinda over plays them. I.E. it's kinda bull crap that the security orb stuns everyone it attacks and when you beat it you only get one motion potion. I went into the ship with 20 of them and now I have none so I have to fight the battles with my characters never being able to act. Other than that it's an amazing game with an amazing story. It just frustrates me a little. Still though 5/5

One of the best games on the internet for sure! I'm a final fantasy junkie and this gave me all the wonderful comforts of magic, abilities and secrets on maps and in the game. Great storyline, a little too much at times, but it is definitely necessary to have it like that. Love the names of the weapons, armor, etc... Perhaps a pre-mardek game with the story behind his father, and maybe the king as his sidekick, with Deugan's dad as well? Just a thought lol. Anyways, 10 out of 10, no doubt.

there should be a quicksave mode, so we dont have to go to a save crystal to save. other than that, epicly awesome game.
