Good news for everyone waiting for a new MARDEK game: Pseudolonewolf is currently remaking the game, and it will be released in short episodes. The first two episodes (which, I think, correspond to the current Chapter 1) are probably going to be released sometime in November!

I like the old SNES style graphics and the game is fun, but there is just TOO much dialogue. I wish it were briefer so I could get on with the game and still enjoy the storyline. I feels like reading a book...

*How much* do you actually have to read before the game starts? Seriously, if I wanted to read pages and pages of text, I'd pick up a novel. The fact that I tried to play a computer game suggests that, you know, I wanted to play a computer game.

Going for my last game to get a shiny kongpanion and finding that the controls aren't working properly on my computer... suckworthy

wait: this is the kind of game where resting in your bed doesn't heal you? I was still poisoned after first Moric battle and thought I would better go to bed and rest... but when I wake up I was still poisoned.

Anyone going for the easy badge: It might be easier on you to play chapter 1 and load the chapter 1 save as it tells you to. I got all the chests before I had to worry about fighting the bandit chief.

Owari, I believe the trick only works once for them, so if you're thinking of the final fight on the battleship there's your reason. If they can do the soul transfer trick more than once it could also have been because Moric was hardly in control of his mental faculties at that point. If you're speaking of the catacombs, why would you choose the body of some no-body guard over some great, long dead hero? If I were in Moric's shoes I'd have done the same probably.

There are some very subtle moral choices in this game. I mean, the one with the bandit is pretty obvious, but now I find myself robbing the dead of their belongings without repercussion. It is kind of interesting.
