@billcat: I tend to teach those kinds of powerful passives early on, so that I don't have to sacrifice an accessory slot later on. In that way, you can learn more skills at once. However, if you want to double up on another 10-RP passive, you'll need the character to be at least lvl 34 (for instance, learning Double Gold or Rainbow Aura)

@billcat : thank you very much for the explanation :) i first thought it would double my ap (what was stupid), then i thought it would increase my rate of gaining max ap so i would have more ap at eg. lvl 40 than without it. But now i understand how things work :D
btw if you fought "too many" mythril golems...20k arent that bad

paul10y97: When Double AP is turned on all of the skills that character is learning earn points at twice the normal rate, e.g. learning a 20 AP magic defense skill requires suffering 10 magic hits instead of 20. It applies to all skills being learned, including itself (you learn it in 100 battles instead of the rated 200.) I usually don't bother with it until a character has most of the important skills available, which for me usually means level 30-something. Comes in handy at times, like when Mardek learns Bleed from the cursed sword.

@theGameMaster123 Not the light temple(does not exist in this chapter),the Miasmial Cidadel is under the Dark Temple.You need a key though.

@armascott: You *might* be thinking of the Dark Temple. It's that place under... you guessed it, the Light Temple. If you meant the Miasmal CHALICE, then there's a certain floor not too far into the Dark Temple that has it floating in the center. Kill 100 monsters total while adventuring in the Temple to fill and obtain it. Fortunately, there's a save crystal in the same room...

Tip : You can cancel some of disadvantageous abilities through "bad timing" (or simply just not use them this way), for example: Donovan's melee attack, with fire ability, will heal some of fire-elemental foes instead damage them. But if you intentionally miss reaction test, the skill will not occur, thus you will damage enemy instead heal him :)

For those that are having trouble with pixes, equip Elwyen with Boots of Celerity, or anything to boost her Agility as much as possible, allowing her first action. With that action, activate Delorous Dirge, and keep it active as much as possible.

I mean to say, light creatures are supposed to be weak against dark attacks...but encyclopedia shows a value of 100% against dark...so lower the value, greater the resistance to that attack?

1/5 Because of the first boss battle being totally luck-reliant: if any 2 enemies hit the same team member, it's game, or you're gonna throw your full inventory of revives to have a chance. Way to repel players away from your game.

i feel i must protest the sort feature on item storage. i place items in inventory according to future use, so i do not appreciate it when i place items in storage then sort them, only to lose my organisation. Apart from this this and the non-explanation of left/right arrow keys to show equipment specs this is a great game, which, as of this year, is undoubtedly the best game on kongregate. It wasn't before, but the best was shut down

ah, that moment between killing the last of the opponents and Mardek finally declaring it a win by raising his sword. I wonder what goes through everyone's mind then. I know what goes through mine: Yes, darn, you did it. Grab the loot, don't hang about and wait for the the outcome to be computed, dah!
