a really big trick for getting past the molester demons in the dark temple is to use morality block (mardek with a xantusian scimitar)on everyone once in a while and it blocks all of the magical attacks

@aliyah:After you get the greren gem switch, go to the center path that goes streight up. Take a right when you can, follow the path, and eventually you will get to a part were you go right on the screen to a new section of the area. Before you fight the cactus boss, there will be a fork in the road. If you take the way that is not to the cactus boss you will get to the red gem switch.

@BinyaminTsadik : Yes, they do. Only if you made these save files after he updated the system. If your files are from the previous version, you will know because they won't be playable anymore. One more not; if you load either MARDEK RPG 1, 2, or 3 the beginning few screens will explain what happened, read them carefully.

If anybody wants to know the skills or items and other stuff about MARDEK 3,2, and 1 you can check out the wiki for it. Here is a link: http://fighunter.wikia.com/wiki/MARDEK_(Series) I didn't create it but found it to be quiet useful in knowing all the skills to Legion and other characters.

When writing the walkthrough, you should have been more specific about the switch-flipping. It's a bit confusing to follow in the Water Temple when you just say "flip" this switch. Sometimes I lose track of whether it should be on or off. It's not that hard to say flip the switch ON/OFF.

I hope this tip is useful:you can be aqualunged forever as long as you don't touch the save crystal,i gone into the gem mines and then lake qur and water temple ending up only using 4 oxyales at all,and with a party of 4.

Alright heres some more tips not mentioned in the walkthrough..I have no idea where people are getting the 'you cant get the chalice after youve gotten the crystal' because I decided to leave the chalice alone and beat the temple and come back later when im stronger to just 1-hit the monsters, which it worked and I got the dark chalice after already entering the water temple..Now on the water guardian, Dont equip much +water res..use Elwyen's Balance spell so that all of your characters would take 1/4th damage [instead of 1 character taking full damage]...and Gloria's Null Water Once spell ON THE WHOLE PARTY [once the spell is selected click on the right arrow key] so that Tsunami isn't effective at all, Gloria can learn it by having a Sapphire Bangle equipped. It also says that after defeating the Fire Guardian you can retreat and heal+save then come back and get the fire crystal and faceoff against Bartholio's team, so be prepared..which is untrue because the door is blocked by magic

this is a great guide and a great game, but one suggestion to the guide. In the sun temple there is a item called the stingstick and i know that is a good weapon throughout the game if you wouldn't mind adding that in there along with some other good items that appear in chest it would be nice.

im lost at the water temple.......the walkthrough has some errors i think because it says that after going though the northwest door to get the emerald switch you should go southeast and cross some sapphire platforms but there arent any..... help anyone? =/

*Water Temple (Additional help!):*
After the first couple of Walk-through steps, follow the extra Directions (given by imamheresee in the comments below), to turn OFF the Sapphire switch before going to the SE Room. After turning ON the Moonstone switch there, you need to return to the NW Room, to turn the Sapphire switch back ON.
Therefore, the 3rd Instruction should read: 'Go back to the *North-West Room...'.

That part is missing in the walkthrough.
You have to flip the turquoise switch off after activating the Saphire one. Then go to the northwest room, there should be a bridge. Turn The saphire switch off. Now there are bridges in the southeast room.

I thought the Zombie Dragon fight was pretty simple, just put Mardek on healing, Amelia on Flame, Deugan on Spirit Blade or Power Attack, and Vehrn on Disrupt Undead. Make sure everyone is 7-8+ level (health) and you are good to go. :)

The molester demon is really simple, go to the sun temple and try to get a sun axe and give it to slen'nck and mardek use mortality block u may also want to use sun sword for a faster battle remember to mortality once in a while though

wen i found the sword iron greatblade i found out i had already bought it which disappointed me a bit but great game and thanks for the walkthrough i had to look back and forth this is one of the best rpg games made 5/5 keep on makin them! :D

The first part of the chapter 2 guide is wrong. It says you get the cog necklace in chapter 2 but you get in in chapter 1. Pseudolonewolf: You neec to fix this.

now he has made it that you can in fact get the miasmal chalice if you leave a temple but the monsters spawn less often, so you might as well get it while you are there. gain a level before tackling the boss or something. besides, it saves trekking there again.
