'zlol56', could you be more specific? What about the controls were not to your liking, and why didn't you just customise the controls like you're able to? 'bobdude45', I chose to have only Beginner available from the start because otherwise loads of people would choose a difficulty far too hard for them out of pride or ignorance and then complain that the game was too hard... like what happened with episode 1.

Also, I repeat: if you are going to provide criticism about anything, please suggest how it could be IMPROVED, otherwise you just look like some fickle child with no attention span. I put a lot of time and effort into this game, and imagine, if you can, what it would be like to spend weeks of time and effort on something then receive comments like the ones you give. Hmm.

Not thrilled that you are forced to start on the beginner difficulty, you should have at least two choices, with a more difficult one becoming available. Nonetheless, I throughly enjoyed the game. 4/5

When you say 'the page spawned endless referral link windows', what do you mean? Is that something I can fix somehow?
I notice a lot of people are complaining about 'lag', but I've never got that. What sort of lag is it? Occassional? Like, a lag spike every so often? Or is it more that the game just runs slowly? If so, how would you know what speed it's supposed to run at? Also, if you are encountering this 'lag', could you mention your computer's specifications so then we can see if it IS your computer and not just the game?

this looked so cool, and it was enjoyable at first. But the controls gave me fits, and i had lag also. say its my comp but i doubt it. I will come play it more when i have the time

Started playing in FF, saw some lag, thought IE might do better, but when I ran it in IE the page spawned endless referral link windows. aaagh...back to FF it is, I guess. (I blame Kong for all of it :P )

I am working on MARDEK 3 but it's a high project; I need to do 'quick' things like this in the meantime to get much needed money...
Anyway, I just uploaded a version with minor fixes... Nothing about the ladders though. Is it so hard to get used to having to release and re-press up? If I make it so that holding up automatically grabs ladders, it'd end up with you grabbing the ladder you're trying to jump off...
Also, the lag is due to your ancient stone age computers, people!

pretty good looking game. i have a few suggestions tho'. i understand you are going for an old school platform style. but even those had power-ups or something to keep it interesting. maybe like a rapidfire powerup, or temporary invincibility, etc. second thing while holding up you should autograb ladders it would make maneuvering much easier. and lastly maybe next chapter you could incorporate some wall jumping or dashing like mega man style. oh and off topic what the heck man? i'm so sick of mardek 3 getting pushed back?? could be something epic if you got on it. anyways 4/5

Game rocks but even harder than the first. I think there should be a mode where you can be invincible if you want, but you get no score and no (potential) badges if they are added. I want to see how the storyline progresses but im simply not good enough to beat it. I beat the first one after weeks of playing but this one is much harder. Other than that personal issue (its not a game flaw, i know its meant to be hard), 5/5 for sure. Good work man.. great engine and setting.

My only issue is with the very end... There should be something stopping you from going through the entire level again, (blocks would do nicely), and if you weren't able to walk on top of Echelle, more people would talk IN FRONT of her... Also, a sign would help some idiots who might have forgotten, but that is only for the truly mentally defective.

People, please, if you are going to be critical, can you at least try to be constructive about it rather than just dismissive? If you find faults, suggest SOLUTIONS that would make the game better rather than just pointing them out like a fickle child with no attention span.
