This series : nice job on graphics, atmosphere and original concept but too confuse and basic script costing the game a lot of interest and credibility. Author should have focused on original idea and mystery, psychology and quest for identity of the main character. Specially in a genre where those kind of stories have been done one million times already. Aliens, vampires, werewolwes, giant spiders, mad scientists, zombies, conspiracy, sects, countless verbous and too explicit diaries make the story too "heavy" and non credible. You gotta find on one main, simple lign of script and let your audience imagination work, as a script-writer, concentrating on atmopshere and your identity. Specially in sci-fi where the possibilities are pretty much illimited and you're tempted to bring more narrative elements just because you can...

It legit took me so freaking long to figure out to hack into the terminals and computers. I was getting so frustrated! But it's all good and I finally figured it out. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next! 5/5

I just finished playing all current episodes, and I have something to say:
This game is a masterwork, and I will tear into 6 when it comes. The puzzles were challenging but fun, the jump scares were good, the story is amazing, and it feels like this is a story that could actually happen.
I love that it points out the greed in humanity, as well as giving the character a benevolent feeling.
5/5 every game!

Thank you for no stupid "find the bits" segment. Is there more to come? I'd like to see more rooms and less puzzle repetition, though I understand if it saves resources to do the nano exam minigame 4 times.

I've been a fan of Being One since the beginning. I accidentally discovered Episode 5 so played them all in sequence. Imagine my surprise when I started playing, improved graphics, minigames and game mechanics, even cutscenes! Can't wait for Episode 6 now!

I like this series, but I kinda preferred the creepy!atmospheric ones, not this techno!action thing. There's stuff jumping out at me, but the total effect is less frightening.

As someone (and possibly a few others) has mentioned, hacking Dr. Rycroft's files is a pain. Keyboard keys should have been used.
Otherwise, great game.

It's just nice, what with the Being gaining more allies and etc. If anything, I'd like a sequel with more action and fighting focus.

Hacking Device example: number 7 ---- (passes through middle) --- appears another number (3) --- the code number will be 4 (7-3=4)
Example 2: number 8 (passes through middle) appears another number (-1) the code number will be 9 (8+1=9)
the - / + are inverted

Lol! Just curious, but are those usernames who tried hacking in Dr. Rycroft's systems attempting to learn the location of Being One actual Kongregate usernames or from some other forum? Cause that would be cool.. or something.
