the controls are too tempermental for me to enjoy the game, i like the concept but i can't really say i like playing it when i get too frustrated with my character going suicidal and impaling himself on some spikes :(

Did this guy cover himself in thermite or something? The tiniest flicker of a flame or something hot touching him causes him to instantly erupt into a flame hot enough to incinerate his entire body in seconds. I can understand just falling over and fainting if someone landed on spikes impaling their foot, but the instantaneous combustion confuses me..

The margin for error in jumps, the landing of said jumps into shocks, spikes, and mines is far too narrow. This games difficulty level attempts to make up for it's lack of content. Horrible way to build a game.

I would've kept going with the Gauntlet, but reading the "words of wisdom" every single time I died took more willpower than learning the level.

Sorry, but from a game that demands 100% accuracy I demand 100% accurate controls. The transition beween wall climbing and ceiling climbing is basically nonexistent also climbing up a wall and standing on the edge directly after that is very hard to achieve. I gave up on level 9 because it's just frustrating as it is now. 3/5

The game creator says that only 1% of players manage to complete the Gauntlet Mode.
But on Kongregate out of the number of players getting the easy badge more then 4% have got the hard badge.
Guess the players on Kongregate are much better then players elsewhere :P

this game is proof why games on kongregate should have badges. Before this game had badges I only played two levels due to controls. now thanks to badges and after getting all them I have much more respect for this game.

According to the physics of the game, none of the traps should be able to sense you while in stealth, however, the stun guns can. I think you could get around this by making the guns shoot both directions simultaneously, but that's just a nitpick. Another nitpick; why can't he crouch? He can climb walls and ceilings and turn invisible, but he can't crouch.

Like the game, but the ninja slides too much when walking. This could be a little bit more accurate...and of course a non-ducking ninja!

How about some statistics! Like: "Deaths: 3341, Death by spike: 434, Death by bomb: 621, Death by laser: 148, Death by pink plasma: 857, Death by fire: 419, Death by turret: 375, etc." And the statistics would cover both campaign and gauntlet modes.

The game is great, but the controls are way too bad for a game of this type. The movement is too slippery, which makes it very annoying to fit in 1 block spaces, Wall Climbing sucks, it goes too fast, making it hard to control, and when we let go we fall instantly, which makes switching walls very frustrating (very noticeable in Gauntlet level 2, which was made basicaly entirely around wall climbling). You see, i'm not complaining about the difficulty, as i love hard platform games, but the controls should be better in games of this type.

This is probably one of my favorite ninja games so far. I think the mechanics, theme, and overall style of the game is good. Always room for improvement though. Perhaps like EDM music w/out weird noises, something more colorful, or anything to attract the player and keep the person interested in the game. I did love it though. ^-^

completed the gauntlet in 267 deaths. phew! that was tiring. you feel proud when you read that only 1% manage to finish it. wonder if i'll ever do it again

Just because its hard doesnt mean you should rate low. I beat gauntlet with 319 deaths :D it just takes willpower. Remember: It's all pretty much a pattern.
