The blood shield only takes health from the realm units, it does not heal your own units. Plus- it only works when the skeleton warriors are fighting at the front of your army's formation, and it doesn't even work then- it only works when they block an attack. No offence, but you guys would know that if you pay attention to the battle.

y do people complain so much of how much grinding is in this game. ive beaten the game in a HOUR, after a few playthroughs. You only need to use the switch formation tool properly and with skill. Also the blood shield complaint, either thats a kongregate thing or people dont know how it works. But for me blood shield works just fine.

Honestly, the repetitive grinding is starting to get tedious. Definitely agree with Monsterjamp that the game needs higher speed settings.
Right now the monotonous feel along with the fact Blood Shield doesn't work as stated byZovjraar, are ruining the game.

When you click on the units i think their should where you control and move them. I like the game. Just add more animations for the attack and defense on the units.

the art for the goblin warriors and werewolves came from a mobile game "block story" with no credit given.also, in that game, the goblin warriors only attack you after you attack them, so what did the humans do to them?

Micromanagement isn't my thing, but this really drew me in. I wanted to whup them so badly! And with a little shimmying around of troops, I did :) very satisfying. I think the game is great as is, tho future versions might be like Epic War in that it could be longer, and player could have a go with both sets of armies. That would be great, this totally works as a standalone, focus, beat within a few hours, it really ticks a lot of boxes, it's great!

Oh and the Werewolves are completely useless as far as my experience goes with them. They can't tank anything at all and in the later stages f the game, most of the damage comes from the backlines (fire arrows, black rain, apocalypse). Skip the werewolves completely. For the Titan fight, your daemon is the best way to deal with it so make sure he has a decent chunk of hp remaining. At this stage you still should have your 10 underworld, because you made them fight only with the revival skill avalable. If you can use it for titan, its over.

My experience so far: the daemon is more than worth its cost (overpowered with some minimal micromanagement), ideally you want 1 frontline of melee, 3 lines or range behind (skeletons archers+chamans+mages), and swap the daemon on the 2nd line everytime his super-uber-mega smash is available. When i reach the madmen, I try to use my Cursed knights / Underworlds only when their skill is available (cursed knights become very tough to kill, underworlds become unkillable), and use my daemon in front the rest of the time. Works like a charm!

this game is just so awesome i always to fight being the bad guys but i am sad that the skeleton archer cannot fight effectively against anyone except villagers

too much grinding, no strategy, just get gold, play over n over n over the same stages even though you are far too powerful for 3 peasants, a well made game but lacking the finer points, something different, rather than more of the same old tired idea. 2/5
